Family of detained American 'grateful' for his release from North Korea

(Reuters) - The family of Tony Kim, one of three imprisoned Americans held by North Korea, said in a statement on Wednesday they were grateful for the release of the three and thanked U.S. President Donald Trump for engaging directly with Pyongyang.

“We are very grateful for the release of our husband and father, Tony Kim, and the other two American detainees,” the Kim family said in a statement.
