WARSAW, Sept 11 (Reuters) - Polish interest rates are currently at the correct level, central bank governor Adam Glapinski was quoted as saying on Friday by news agency ISBnews.
“Interest rates are at the right level - there is no doubt about it. They have stabilized our situation, prevented a major economic collapse in the period of crisis that is already behind us,” Glapinski told ISBnews.
The rate setting panel will meet on Tuesday. The main rate is currently at 0.1%. (Reporting by Agnieszka Barteczko; Writing by Marcin Goclowski; Editing by Jon Boyle)
