MOSCOW, Oct 12 (Reuters) - The Russian central bank said on Monday it had sold 600 billion roubles ($7.8 billion) at a one-month repo auction, after an earlier one-year auction had seen more modest demand.
The bank said on Friday it would offer up to 1 trillion roubles at the one-month auction.
Repo, or repurchase agreement, auctions are held to increase the capacity of credit institutions to manage their liquidity. ($1 = 77.0500 roubles) (Reporting by Elena Fabrichnaya; Writing by Alexander Marrow; Editing by Jon Boyle)
