Current rouble levels are "reasonable", says Russian economy minister

PARIS, Aug 29 (Reuters) - The rouble exchange rate should be “pretty stable” at current levels for the rest of the year after temporary factors affecting it in the first half have worn off, Russia’s economy minister Maxim Oreshkin said on Tuesday.

“Those levels we see currently are reasonable,” said Oreshkin, who was speaking in Paris after a meeting at the French employers’ federation.

Oreshkin also reiterated that Russia was still looking at the possible sale of a stake in state shipping company Sovcomflot this year.
