Russian firms deterred from IPOs due to external factors - VTB CEO

MOSCOW, Nov 27 (Reuters) - Russian companies are not launching initial public offerings (IPOs) due to external factors, Andrei Kostin, the head of Russian state lender VTB said on Tuesday.

This year has been the first in a decade without a single Russian IPO despite earlier plans by at least 10 Russian companies, ranging from petrochemicals giants to real estate and health businesses, to line up IPOs.
