Singapore Exchange delays start of derivatives market trading

SINGAPORE, April 9 (Reuters) - Singapore Exchange has delayed the start of trading on its derivatives market due to technical problems, the bourse said on Tuesday.

“We have identified the cause of the problem and are addressing it,” SGX said in a statement.

Major derivatives contracts traded at Southeast Asia’s largest exchange include futures linked to the Japanese and Indian stock markets. (Reporting by Rachel Armstrong; Editing by JOhn O‘Callaghan)
