Soccer: Salah starts for Liverpool, Aguero on bench for City,

MANCHESTER, England (Reuters) - Liverpool’s in-form Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah was named in their starting lineup for Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final, second leg at the Etihad Stadium after recovering from a groin injury.

Salah, who sat out Saturday’s goalless Merseyside derby with Everton in the Premier League, will start in Juergen Klopp’s usual three-pronged attack with Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino as the Reds look to build on their 3-0 lead from the first leg.

The only change in Liverpool’s side from the game at Anfield last week was in midfield where Georginio Wijnaldum comes in for the suspended Jordan Henderson.

City manager Pep Guardiola left captain Vincent Kompany on the bench and fields an attacking lineup with just three recognised defenders.

Brazilian Gabriel Jesus starts in attack with Argentine Sergio Aguero on the bench.
