Soccer: Bullet point previews of Premier League matches

(Reuters) - Match-by-match facts and statistics ahead of round 12 of the Premier League on Nov. 10-11 (games at 1500 GMT unless stated):

Saturday, Nov. 10

Cardiff City v Brighton and Hove Albion (1230)

- It will be the first time Cardiff and Brighton face each other in the English top-flight.

- Brighton have lost just one of their last 11 league encounters with Cardiff, a 4-1 defeat in Feb. 2016 in the Championship.

- Chris Hughton’s Brighton have one win in their last 19 away games in the league, with the victory coming against Newcastle United last month.

- No Premier League team has conceded the first goal more often than Cardiff this season (eight, level with Fulham).

- Cardiff are without a clean sheet in their last eight Premier League games, conceding 22 goals in that spell.

Huddersfield Town v West Ham United

- West Ham beat Huddersfield home and away in the league last season, scoring six goals and conceding one.

- Five of West Ham’s six Premier League goals against Huddersfield were scored in the second half.

- Huddersfield, who ended a 14-game winless run in the league against Fulham on Monday, last won back-to-back league games in February.

- Huddersfield have not scored more than one goal in any of their last 21 league matches and have eight goals in total during that run.

- Since the start of last season, Austrian forward Marko Arnautovic has been directly involved in 23 of West Ham’s 61 league goals, with 16 goals and seven assists.

Leicester City v Burnley

- Leicester are the only team to have scored in all 11 of their Premier League games so far this season.

- Leicester are unbeaten in seven home games against Burnley since a 1-0 defeat in the Championship in Nov. 2007.

- Burnley, who beat Leicester at home last season, are looking to record consecutive league wins over the Foxes for the first time since Aug. 2006.

- Claude Puel’s Leicester have conceded first in each of their last four home league games, winning one, drawing one and losing two.

- Burnley are on a three-game losing streak in which they have shipped 13 goals and scored two.

Newcastle United v Bournemouth

- Bournemouth have beaten Newcastle on their last two Premier League visits to St James’ Park.

- Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth have already won three of their five away games this season, one fewer than they managed the whole of last season.

- Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle got their first league win of the season against Watford last weekend, while Bournemouth suffered a first home defeat since April after losing to Manchester United.

- Five of the last seven Premier League goals between Newcastle and Bournemouth have been scored in the 80th minute or later.

- Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson has contributed six goals and four assists this season and his four away goals are only bettered by Tottenham striker Harry Kane’s five.

Southampton v Watford

- Watford won their last league trip to Southampton, snapping a seven-game winless run against the Saints.

- Pressure is mounting on Saints boss Mark Hughes, whose team are on a seven-game streak without a win in which they have scored three and conceded 16.

- Southampton winger Nathan Redmond has four goals and one assist in his last four league appearances against Watford.

- Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure has scored in all three of his previous league appearances against Southampton.

- Only one of Watford’s 21 league trips (in all divisions) to Southampton has ended in a draw, a 1-1 tie in August 2016.

Crystal Palace v Tottenham Hotspur (1730)

- Palace have lost their last six league games against Tottenham, scoring one goal and conceding eight.

- Palace are also without a win in their last six league games this season.

- The last four league meetings between the teams have ended in 1-0 wins for Spurs.

- Roy Hodgson’s Palace have the worst home record in the league this season with two points after three defeats and two draws in five games.

- Tottenham have won more away Premier League games in 2018 than any other side (11).

- Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has won eight Premier League games against Crystal Palace, his best record against any side in the competition.

Sunday, Nov. 11

Liverpool v Fulham (1200)

- The last time the sides met was in February 2014 and Liverpool have won their last four league meetings with Fulham.

- After winning their first seven games in a row in all competitions this season, Liverpool have now won three, drawn three and lost three of their last nine matches.

- Promoted Fulham are bottom of the standings and the only team yet to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League this season.

- Liverpool have won all eight of their home league games against promoted teams under Juergen Klopp, scoring 25 goals and conceding three.

- Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 26 Premier League home games, their longest such run since August 2009 (31 games).

Chelsea v Everton (1415)

- Chelsea are unbeaten in 23 Premier League home games against Everton, since a 1-0 loss in Nov. 1994.

- If Chelsea avoid defeat, Maurizio Sarri will set a new record for longest unbeaten start by a Premier League manager, overtaking Frank Clark’s run of 11 games with Nottingham Forest in 1994.

- Everton have won one of their last 16 away Premier League games in London, with six draws and nine defeats.

- Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has been involved in more Premier League goals than any other player (seven goals, four assists) this season.

- Everton forward Richarlison has already scored six league goals this season, one more than he managed for Watford in the whole of last season.

Arsenal v Wolverhampton Wanderers (1630)

- Promoted Wolves have not beaten Arsenal since September 1979, a run of 19 matches without victory.

- After losing their first two league games to Manchester City and Chelsea, Unai Emery’s Arsenal are unbeaten in their last nine (seven wins, two draws).

- Forwards Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette have scored 12 of Arsenal’s 25 league goals between them this season.

- After a six-game unbeaten run, Wolves have lost their last three league matches in a row.

- Arsenal are fifth in the league, six points behind leaders Manchester City and a point and a place behind local rivals Tottenham.

Manchester City v Manchester United (1630)

- United, who beat City 3-2 in the corresponding fixture last season, and could register back-to-back league victories at the home of their archrivals for the first time since April 2010.

- City manager Pep Guardiola has never lost consecutive home league games against the same opponent.

- Jose Mourinho’s United have conceded 18 goals in 11 league games this season. It took them 25 league games to concede as many goals last season.

- Man City striker Sergio Aguero has 17 goals and five assists in his last 13 league games at the Etihad Stadium.

- United striker Romelu Lukaku is a doubt for the match due to a muscle injury.

- United are currently seventh in the league table, nine points behind leaders and defending champions City.
