(Reuters) - Two more wins might just be enough to secure Huddersfield Town’s survival in the Premier League, goalkeeper Jonas Lossl has said.
Huddersfield are 16th on 31 points, three clear of the relegation zone with six games left to play. However, 18th-placed Southampton could join them on 31 points if they win their game in hand.
“We need to look at ourselves and the next game and we know we at least need a couple more wins to reach our target. The only thing we look at is the next game now,” Lossl was quoted as saying by The Huddersfield Daily Examiner.
“I am sure a lot of people would have an opinion on that (how many points are needed to survive). I would say it looks like six or seven more points will be enough.”
Huddersfield travel to Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
