PARIS (Reuters) - Guingamp have sacked Antoine Kombouare as coach after a poor run of form that left the club bottom of Ligue 1.
“Guingamp, after a meeting with coach Antoine Kombouare, decided to terminate his duties,” the club said on its website.
“The management of the pro group is entrusted to Mrs Vincent Rautureau (director of the training center) and Sylvain Didot (coach of the N3), pending the appointment of the new coach.”
Guingamp lost 5-0 on Sunday to Nantes and have won only once in the league this season.
They are bottom of the standings with just seven points from 12 games.
