July 10 (Reuters) - VfL Bochum defender Jordi Osei-Tutu was allegedly subjected to racial abuse in a pre-season friendly against Swiss club St Gallen.
The 20-year-old, on-loan at the German second-tier club from Premier League Arsenal, posted a video of the incident on Instagram which shows him visibly distraught and talking to the referee before walking off the pitch.
"#SayNoToRacism! VfL Bochum vehemently condemns all forms of racism. Jordi, we stand behind you," Bochum said in a statement here
St Gallen made a statement on Twitter.
"FC St Gallen makes clear that it strongly condemns all forms of racism and discrimination. Corresponding misconduct would be immediately sanctioned," the club said here
