Factbox - Soccer: Ever-present clubs in major European leagues

(Reuters) - Former European champions Hamburg SV take on Borussia Moenchengladbach on Saturday in a match that could see them relegated from the German top flight for the first time since the league’s creation in 1963.

Here is a list of major European clubs who have never been relegated since the founding of their national top divisions.

Greece: Olympiakos Piraeus, Panathinaikos, PAOK (Thessaloniki)

Italy: Inter Milan

Netherlands: Ajax Amsterdam, Feyenoord, PSV Eindhoven, FC Utrecht

Portugal: Benfica, Porto, Sporting Clube de Portugal

Spain: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao

Scotland: Celtic

Turkey: Besiktas, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray

The following six English clubs have never been relegated since the Premier League started in 1992: Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur
