TABLE-Sri Lanka July consumer price inflation steady at 6.3 pct y/y

    COLOMBO, Aug 21 (Reuters) - Sri Lanka's consumer price
inflation in July was steady at 6.3 percent from a year earlier,
the Department of Census and Statistics said on Monday.
    On a month-on-month basis, consumer prices fell 0.8 percent
in July, after rising 1.3 percent in June. 
    The 12-month moving average inflation, for which data is
available since December 2015, accelerated to an all-time high
of 6.2 percent in July, from 6.1 percent a month ago.
