Sept 1 (Reuters) - A look at the form and records of Canadian Denis Shapovalov and Britain’s Kyle Edmund ahead of their third-round match at the U.S. Open on Friday.

The 18-year-old Canadian showed remarkable speed, skill and a booming serve in his straight-sets upset win over France’s Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the second round. The talented world number 69 reached the semi-finals of the Rogers Cup in Montreal this year scoring back-to-back wins over Spain’s Rafa Nadal and Argentina’s Juan Martin del Potro along the way.

Kyle Edmund
