Ukraine PM: we respect central bank independence

KIEV, Oct 3 (Reuters) - Ukraine’s Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk said on Thursday his government respected the independence of the central bank and would support its target to bring inflation down to 5%.

Honcharuk was speaking after the government and central bank signed a memorandum to cooperate on achieving sustainable economic growth and price stability. (Reporting by Natalia Zinets; writing by Matthias Williams; Editing by Hugh Lawson)
