Deutsche Bank supervisory board debated merger for three hours: source

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Deutsche Bank’s supervisory board debated a possible merger with rival Commerzbank for three hours at a meeting on Thursday, a person with direct knowledge of the matter said.

Christian Sewing, Deutsche Bank’s chief executive, informed the board about the possible merger and said the bank was at the beginning of doing due diligence, the source said.
