Japan PM says to adopt economic policies with strong message

TOKYO (Reuters) - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Monday that he would take economic policies that carry a strong message with a firm commitment, when asked about a proposal for lowering sales tax.

Abe, speaking to parliament, also said he would take unprecedented economic policies to respond to the coronavirus impacts.
