NHC says 40% chance of cyclone over the Lesser Antilles

(Reuters) - Shower activity associated with a large area of disturbed weather over the Lesser Antilles and eastern Caribbean Sea has a 40% chance of developing into a cyclone in the next 48 hours, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Friday.

“A tropical depression is likely to form by the time the system reaches the western Caribbean Sea early next week,” the NHC said.
