Equinor shuts Titan platform in U.S. Gulf because of storm threat

HOUSTON (Reuters) - Equinor ASA EQNR.OL shut the Titan platform in the U.S.-regulated Gulf of Mexico because of the threat from Tropical Storm Sally, the company said on Sunday.

“We were able to safely shut-in production and evacuate all personnel late (on Saturday),” company spokesman Hasting Stewart said on Sunday.
