Atlanta Fed raises U.S. quarter one GDP growth view to 2.3%

(Reuters) - The U.S. economy grew at a 2.3% annualized rate in the first quarter, based on latest data on domestic factory orders in February, the Atlanta Federal Reserve’s GDPNow forecast model showed on Monday.

This was faster than the 2.1% pace for the first-quarter gross domestic product that the Atlanta Fed’s GDP program calculated on April 2.
