U.S. says to hold trade talks with South Korea on October 4

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The top U.S. trade negotiator said on Friday the United States and South Korea would hold another round of talks on their free trade agreement on Oct. 4 in Washington.

President Donald Trump has threatened to scrap the trade pact, but the negotiator, Robert Lighthizer, has expressed optimism the two nations can reach agreement on revisions.
