(Reuters) - Wall Street’s three main indexes opened lower on Wednesday on concerns that increasing political strain between Washington and Beijing could derail trade negotiations between the two sides.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 54.47 points, or 0.19%, at the open to 27,879.55.
The S&P 500 opened lower by 5.52 points, or 0.18%, at 3,114.66. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 27.09 points, or 0.32%, to 8,543.57 at the opening bell.
