U.S. 3-year note sold at lowest yield in a year

NEW YORK, March 11 (Reuters) - The U.S. Treasury Department on Monday sold $38 billion of three-year government debt at a yield of 2.448 percent, the lowest yield at an auction for this maturity in a year, Treasury data showed.

The ratio of bids to the amount of three-year Treasuries offered was 2.56, compared to 2.55 at the previous three-year auction in February. (Reporting by Richard Leong, editing by G Crosse)
