Trump says suspected gunman who shot at lawmakers is now dead

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said the suspected gunman who opened fire on Republican lawmakers on Wednesday had died from injuries he received during the shooting.

“The assailant has now died from his injuries,” Trump announced from the White House.
