Lindab reviews options for non-ventilation businesses, including potential sale

Oct 26 (Reuters) - Lindab :Reg-Lindab International AB (publ): Lindab assesses strategic alternatives for its non-ventilation related businesses.Says ‍board has decided to assess structural alternatives, including a potential divestment, of its non-ventilation related businesses.Says non-ventilation related businesses include the Building Systems segment (representing 11% of 2016 sales) and other construction-related businesses with limited strategic value for the ventilation business​.Says ‍in total, aforementioned businesses under review are estimated to represent approximately 30% of Lindab Group sales.Says to support in this review process, Lindab has appointed SEB Corporate Finance as financial advisor​.  Full Article

Lindab q4 operating profit amounted to sek 112 m (124), excluding one-off items of sek 0 m (-24) . Lindab q4 operating profit increased by 12.0 percent to sek 112 m (100) . Lindab q4 operating margin, excluding one-off items, amounted to 5.5 percent (6.3) . Lindab q4 profit for period increased to sek 79 m (63) . Lindab q4 net debt/equity ratio amounted to 0.4 (0.5) at end of period. January - december 201 . With a strong cash flow, lower net debt and belief in future, board of directors proposes dividends of sek 1.40 (1.25) per share .
