Biographies

Name Description

David Petratis

Mr. David D. Petratis is a Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Dave also served at Schneider Electric as president and CEO of its North American operating division, with market-leading brands of electrical distribution and industrial control products, systems and services. His experience additionally includes nearly 10 years as president of MGE UPS Systems Americas, a privately held manufacturer of power supplies. During his tenure as president there, he was part of the leveraged buyout by management, resulting in the creation of MGE. Dave began his career at Square D Company in 1981, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in manufacturing leadership. Dave has extensive experience as a board member and currently serves on the University of Northern Iowa Business Executive Advisory Board. For eight years, he served as a director of Gardner Denver, the global manufacturer of industrial compressors, blowers, pumps, loading arms and fuel systems. He has additionally held positions on the board of directors of the University of California Irvine Graduate School of Management, the California State (Fullerton) Quality Advisory Board as well as Project Independence – a community agency in Costa Mesa, California, for the developmentally disabled. He has served on the board of governors of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and the International Electrical Safety Foundation. Dave holds a B.A. in industrial management from the University of Northern Iowa and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Patrick Shannon

Mr. Patrick S. Shannon serves as Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of the Company. Mr. Shannon served as the Vice President and Treasurer of Ingersoll-Rand plc (a global diversified company) from 2012 to October 2013.

Shelley Meador

Ms. Shelley A. Meador serves as Chief Human Resource Officer, Senior Vice President of the Company. is responsible for Allegion’s human resources and communications teams. In this role, she leads the strategy for all human resources, communications, brand management and company reputation management matters for Allegion. Previously she led Allegion’s tax department from 2013-2016. Prior to joining Allegion in 2013, she was the vice president, tax of Hillenbrand, Inc. where she was responsible for all global tax matters. Shelley holds a B.S. in Accounting from Ball State University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA.

Vincent Wenos

Mr. Vincent Wenos serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of the Company. In this role, Vince is responsible for driving both product and process innovation across Allegion’s global business. Vince joined Allegion in November 2016 as vice president, global mechanical products, and then promoted to the vice president of Americas engineering. Prior to joining Allegion, Vince held several global engineering leadership positions with companies such as Stanley Black & Decker, United Technologies, and Delphi Automotive with a focus on innovation, productivity, and business collaboration.

Jeffrey Braun

Mr. Jeffrey N. Braun serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer, General Counsel, Secretary of the Company. In this role, Jeff leads the strategy and execution of all legal matters, including compliance, acquisitions and divestitures, securities, corporate governance, commercial contracts, intellectual property, sales and marketing, litigation, labor, employment and employee benefit law. Jeff joined Ingersoll Rand in September 2013 as the deputy general counsel and chief compliance officer, and continued in those roles after Allegion became an independent company later that year. Previously, Jeff served as the general counsel for General Motors China, where he was responsible for providing day-to-day, tactical and strategic legal advice to the senior leadership of GM’s largest and fastest-growing market. He held a variety of legal leadership roles at General Motors Company, including as the executive director of Global Ethics & Compliance. Before joining General Motors, Jeff was a partner at the law firm of Honigman, Miller Schwartz and Cohn in Detroit, Michigan, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. He has lived and worked in the U.S., China, India, Poland, Australia and Switzerland and has particular expertise in acquisition and divestiture transactions, global compliance, environmental law, and joint venture relationships. Jeff earned his juris doctor degree magna cum laude from Harvard University Law School.

Timothy Eckersley

Mr. Timothy P. Eckersley serves as Senior Vice President, President - Americas of the Company. In this role, he is responsible for Allegion’s Americas-based business, with operations in Canada, Latin America and the United States. The Americas organization is responsible for several of Allegion’s core brands, including Schlage, LCN and Von Duprin. Most recently, Tim was Ingersoll Rand’s president of Commercial Americas. In this role, Tim oversaw full profit and loss responsibility for all commercial products and channels in the Americas for the Security Technology sector. Tim also led the development and execution of new business strategies and was sharply focused on delivering innovative new products and services to the security marketplace. A 25-year veteran in high growth technology industries, Tim has a wealth of experience in general management, sales, product portfolio management, major technology partnerships, and strategy within the electronics and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Ingersoll Rand in 2007, Tim was senior vice president of customer and market operations for Nokia in North America. In this role, he was responsible for its multi-billion dollar mobile device business. At Nokia, Tim also held several senior leadership positions within the network infrastructure business. Before that, Tim was executive vice president at Comsearch, a telecommunications consulting company in Virginia. Tim received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Tracy Kemp

Ms. Tracy L. Kemp Jr. serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Customer and Digital Officer of the Company. In this role, she will focus on driving customer excellence, managing the overall customer journey and improving internal and external customers’ experiences with Allegion. Tracy will leverage data and digital solutions to solve business challenges and deliver innovation and outstanding services to our manufacturing plants and employees. Recently, Tracy was named 2018 CTO of the Year (Public Company) by the Indianapolis Business Journal and was one of its 2014 Women of Influence. She also won a 2014 Leading Light Award from the Women & Hi-Tech organization. Tracy was vice president and CIO for the Security Technologies and Residential Solutions sectors of Ingersoll Rand until Allegion became an independent company – where she also served as CIO. During her five years at Ingersoll Rand, Tracy also served as the chairperson for the Ingersoll Rand Women’s Network and was a member of the company’s Progressive, Diverse and Inclusive Council. Prior to joining Ingersoll Rand, Tracy worked for Eli Lilly and Company for 18 years and held information technology leadership positions across enterprise infrastructure, human resources, toxicology and Lilly Research Laboratories. Additionally, she was a systems auditor and a Six Sigma black belt. She earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from Oklahoma Christian University.

Robert Martens

Mr. Robert C. Martens serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Innovation and Design Officer of the Company. In this role, he leads Allegion’s strategic partnering, innovation and design efforts in support of the company’s broader innovation and growth strategy. Rob also serves as Allegion’s futurist, founder of direct-to-consumer innovation engine Pin & Tumbler Studio, and president of Allegion Ventures, the company’s corporate venture capital fund. Rob is sought frequently as a commentator, advisor and keynote speaker on emerging technology, corporate innovation and venturing. Numerous tech curators have named Rob as one the world’s top influencers in the Internet of Things (IoT). Notable lists include: Inc.?magazine “20 influencers who will lead the Internet of Things”; Accenture and?Forbes “40 IoT leaders to follow on social media”; and MarkTechPost “Top IoT influencers to follow.” Industry sector experience includes industrial, consumer residential, aerospace, government, transportation, education, medical and energy. Rob joined Allegion in 2014, as futurist and director of connectivity platforms, later becoming its vice president of strategy and platforms. Prior to joining Allegion, he was corporate chief information officer for Carpenter Technology Corporation, and CIO for Ingersoll Rand’s Security Technologies Sector. He has also served as a board member?or advisor?for?Yonomi,?Idenhaus,?Land O’Lakes?and many others.? Rob has a degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was also a Division I athlete.

Lucia Moretti

Ms. Lucia Veiga Moretti serves as Senior Vice President, President - EMEIA of the Company. In this role, she is responsible for operations throughout the region and distribution in more than 50 countries. The EMEIA organization is responsible for several of Allegion’s core brands, including AXA, Bricard, Briton CISA, Interflex, Normbau, SimonsVoss, and Trelock. A 25-year veteran of the automotive industry, Lúcia has experience in business development, finance, human resources, and marketing, and held executive roles in South America, North America and EMEIA business operations. Most recently, she was senior vice president of Delphi and president of Delphi Product and Service Solutions worldwide after-market business. Educated in Brazil, Lúcia has a bachelor's degree in liberal arts, a master's degree in business administration, majoring in marketing from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and a master’s degree in human resources, from the Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio Grande do Sul. She is fluent in multiple languages, including Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish.

Chris Muhlenkamp

Mr. Chris E. Muhlenkamp serves as Senior Vice President - Global Operations and Integrated Supply Chain of the Company. In this role, he is responsible for Allegion’s global production capabilities and global supply chain relationships. Chris has more than 34 years of supply chain and automotive industry experience having previously worked for Delphi Electronics and Safety. In March 2011, Chris was appointed vice president of operations and global integrated supply chain for Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies. With the formation of Allegion in 2013, Chris was named the senior vice president, global operations and integrated supply chain. His responsibilities include the production and manufacture of doors, locks and hardware at more than 30 sites spanning the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. During his career, Chris has served in a number of leadership roles in multiple functions including operations, sales, human resources, materials, and purchasing. Additionally, he has global experience serving as the managing director for plant operations in Reynosa, Mexico; director of operations for Europe; global director, production control and logistics; and general director, global supply management. An active volunteer, Chris has served on multiple boards of non-profit organizations and actively coached and supported youth athletics in a number of communities. Chris was also a member of the 1977 Notre Dame National Championship Football team. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s in business administration from Ball State University. He has also attended executive and leadership development programs offered by the University of Michigan, Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, Thunderbird School of Management and the Center for Creative Leadership.

Jeffrey Wood

Mr. Jeffrey M. Wood serves as Senior Vice President, President - Asia Pacific of the Company. In this role, Jeff is responsible for Allegion's Asia-Pacific business, which has operations in China, Korea, Australia and New Zealand, and an expanding product portfolio. Most recently, Jeff was vice president of Allegion’s global supply management. He is a manufacturing industry thought-leader with strong ties to the region and the security industry. Since Allegion’s spin-off, Jeff was instrumental in delivering productivity through strategic sourcing and value engineering of the supply chain and logistics. Prior to Allegion, Jeff served as senior vice president of supply chain for the Buildings division at Schneider Electric, along with global leadership roles in customer satisfaction, business process excellence and supply chain strategy. His career also included 12 years at General Electric in operations, materials and quality, where he also earned certification as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Jeff is a graduate of the Missouri University of Science and Technology and holds a bachelor's degree in engineering management, with honors.

Douglas Ranck

Mr. Douglas P. Ranck serves as Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President, Controller of the Company. As controller, he provides integral financial leadership to Allegion and serves as a key member of the finance leadership team. Doug joined Trane/American Standard in October 2006 and played a critical role in the transition to Ingersoll Rand in June 2008. He most recently served as global controller and financial planning leader for Ingersoll Rand's Climate Solutions sector. Prior to joining Ingersoll Rand, he held financial roles of increasing responsibility at both AT&T and PricewaterhouseCoopers in the areas of corporate planning, consolidation, financial reporting, tax and audit. Doug is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa. In addition, he has attended various management programs at Wharton Business School, Pennsylvania State University and Northwestern University.

Kirk Hachigian

Mr. Kirk S. Hachigian serves as Lead Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Hachigian served as JELD-WEN’s president and chief executive officer from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, Kirk was chairman, president and chief executive officer of Cooper Industries Plc., a global manufacturer of electrical components for the industrial, utility and construction markets, from 2006 to 2012. He has a successful track record of creating value for shareholders, completing the merger of Cooper Industries with Eaton Corporation in 2012. During his tenure at Cooper, Kirk held a variety of positions, including co-chief executive officer and chief operating officer. Kirk assumed his first role at Cooper in 2001 as executive vice president of the Electrical Products Division. Prior to joining Cooper, Kirk was vice president and CEO of Asia Pacific Operations for GE Lighting. Before that, he was at Oak Industries in general management, sales and marketing positions. Earlier in his career, Kirk was a consultant with Bain & Company. Kirk received a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a master’s degree in business administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Nicole Haughey

Ms. Nicole Parent Haughey serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mrs. Parent previously served as chief operating officer of Mimeo.com, Inc., a leading technology company in content management and distribution. In that role, she was responsible for the U.S. document business. She also previously oversaw finance and human resources at Mimeo. Nicole is a graduate of Harvard University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in economics, and was a varsity athlete in soccer. She recently concluded her service as the Vice Chair of Harvard’s Board of Overseers, on which she served for six years. She has broad expertise in strategic planning, finance, marketing and sales strategy, and in-depth knowledge of the investment community and equity markets. Prior to Mimeo, Nicole was vice president of corporate strategy and development at United Technologies, co-founder of Vertical Research Partners, and managing director of institutional research for Credit Suisse. Earlier in her career, she worked for Bank of America Securities, Salomon Smith Barney, Cowen & Company, and the New York Stock Exchange.

Steven Mizell

Mr. Steven C. Mizell serves as Independent Director of the Company. previously served on the Board of Directors for Oshkosh Corporation, where he was chair of the Human Resources Committee. Steve is executive vice president, Chief Human Resources Officer at Merck & Co., Inc., with responsibility for all aspects of human resources for over 68,000 employees worldwide. Steve joined Merck in 2018 from Monsanto, where he was responsible for creating an industry-leading workplace for more than 20,000 employees around the world. In this role, he oversaw the company’s approach to talent acquisition and development, employee wellness as well as diversity and inclusion. Steve joined Monsanto as Senior Vice President, Human Resources in 2004, and served as Executive Vice President, Human Resources from 2007 to 2018. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Corporate Resources Officer for AdvancePCS, a pharmaceutical company, and also held key human resources management roles at companies across the energy, defense, beverage and technology sectors. Over the course of his career at Monsanto, Steve’s leadership has helped the company earn recognition as a best place to work. Most recently, this has included being named among World’s Best Multinational Workplaces by Great Place to Work®;100 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption; Top 50 Companies for Diversity by DiversityInc; and as a Top Employer by Science Magazine. A resident of St. Louis, Missouri, Steve is actively involved in a number of community causes. He currently serves on the board of directors for Opera Theater St. Louis and is a supporter of the U.S. Kidney Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and Youth in Need. He has been recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of St. Louis’s Most Influential Diverse Business Leaders. Steve holds a B.S. from Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.S. in management from Carnegie Mellon University.

Dean Schaffer

Mr. Dean I. Schaffer serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Schaffer spent the last 39 years of his career with Ernst & Young LLP, an international public accounting firm. During his time there, he served on Ernst & Young’s Americas Executive Board, as the co-lead of the Americas Office of the Chairman Global Accounts Network, and senior partner in the New York office where he worked with many of the firm’s largest clients. Dean's impressive academic credentials include an MBA from the School of Management at Boston University; a B.S. in Business Administration from the School of Management at Boston University; and a Masters of Taxation from the Graduate Tax Program at Bentley College. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), certified in New York and Massachusetts. Dean also has significant teaching experience, including being an adjunct assistant professor in the Masters of Science and Taxation program at Bentley College and an instructor at Boston University's School of Management.

Charles Szews

Mr. Charles L. Szews CPA serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Szews also serves on the Board of Directors at Commercial Metals Company, Group 1 Automotive Inc. and Valaris plc. Charlie is the former CEO of Oshkosh Corporation, a $6 billion global manufacturer of specialty vehicles and vehicle bodies. He retired from that position in 2015, and previously had served as the company’s executive vice president, president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Prior to joining Oshkosh, Charlie was a certified public accountant, an audit senior manager with Ernst & Young, and he served as vice president and controller at Fort Howard Corporation during its leveraged buyout. Charlie is an experienced board member and seasoned executive, with a background in strategy, operations, acquisitions and finance. In addition, he has in-depth knowledge of global markets, having led operations across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia.

Martin Welch

Mr. Martin E. Welch III serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Welch previously served on the Board of Directors at Global Brass and Copper Holdings, Inc. and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Detroit Mercy. He also previously served on the Board of Directors at Delphi Corporation. Most recently, Marty was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Visteon Corporation, a global automotive parts supplier, from 2011 to 2012. Before joining Visteon, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer of United Rentals, Inc., an equipment rental company, from 2005 to 2009. Marty’s role as chief financial officer for numerous global manufacturing corporations has afforded him extensive senior leadership and financial experience. Previously, Marty was a director and business advisor at York Management Services, Inc., a private equity firm, where he served on the board of York’s apparel retail portfolio company, Northern Reflections Ltd., from 2002 to 2008 and gained key insights around long-term capital allocation strategy. Before that, Marty was executive vice president and chief financial officer at Oxford Automotive and Kmart. He was also a senior vice president and chief financial officer at Federal-Mogul Corporation. Earlier in his career, Marty worked for Chrysler Corporation in a variety of financial leadership positions. He began his career as an accountant at Ernst & Young. Marty received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Detroit.
