Name Description

Sue Rataj

Ms. Sue H. Rataj is Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of the Company. Ms. Rataj was Chief Executive, Petrochemicals for BP, a global energy company, April 2008 until retirement in April 2011. Senior management positions with BP, including Group Vice President, Refining and Marketing, July 2007 to April 2008. Director, Agilent Technologies, Inc., a global leader providing instruments, software and consumables to laboratories in the life sciences, diagnostics and applied chemical markets (2015 to present) Supervisory Board Member, Bayer AG, a life science enterprise developing and manufacturing products in the pharmaceuticals, consumer health, animal health and crop science segments (2012 to 2017) Ms. Rataj has substantial management leadership and strategic planning experience, significant expertise in operations, safety, health and environmental matters, risk management, accounting and finance matters, particularly in the context of a chemicals company, as well as corporate governance experience.

Erica McLaughlin

Ms. Erica McLaughlin is Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of the Company. She is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. McLaughlin joined Cabot in 2002, and was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in May 2018. From June 2016 until May 2018 she was Vice President of Business Operations for Reinforcement Materials and General Manager of the tire business, and from July 2011 until June 2016, she was Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. Prior to July 2011, she held a variety of leadership positions in Finance and Corporate Planning. Ms. McLaughlin assumed interim responsibility for Corporate Strategy and Development in October 2018.

Patricia Hubbard

Dr. Patricia Hubbard is Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of the Company. Dr. Hubbard's distinguished background includes leadership positions at several global Fortune 500 companies. Most recently she was Vice President of R&D for Avery Dennison's Label and Graphic Materials division in North America. Her career in technology also included Vice President of Corporate R&D as well as Technology Director for the Specialty Engineered Materials business at PolyOne Corporation. In addition, she held various technology roles at General Electric. Dr. Hubbard is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and earned her PhD in Polymer Science from the University of Akron and her BS in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University.

John Doubman

Mr. John R. Doubman is Senior Vice President and President of Performance Additives, Performance Chemicals of the Company. Mr. Doubman is Senior Vice President, and, effective October 1, 2018, President of Performance Additives, Performance Chemicals. Mr. Doubman joined Cabot in 2006. Prior to assuming his current position in October 2018, he was Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Development from April 2016 until September 2018 and President of Specialty Fluids from January 2017 until September 2018, Vice President and General Manager of the tire business from April 2015 until April 2016, Vice President Global Business Operation and Strategy, Reinforcement Materials from August 2014 until April 2015, and General Manager for the rubber blacks business in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region from February 2010 until August 2014. In addition, Mr. Doubman was Vice President and General Manager of the elastomer composites business from January 2013 until March 2016. Prior to 2010, he held a variety of leadership positions in Reinforcement Materials and Corporate Strategy.

Hobart Kalkstein

Mr. Hobart C. Kalkstein is the Senior Vice President and President - Reinforcement Materials of the Company. Mr. Kalkstein is Senior Vice President and President of Reinforcement Materials. Mr. Kalkstein joined Cabot in 2005. Prior to assuming his current role in April 2016, he was Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development from December 2015 to April 2016. From October 2013 to December 2015, he served as Vice President of Global Business Operations for Purification Solutions and from November 2012 to December 2015 as General Manager of Global Emission Control Solutions for Purification Solutions, and from January 2012 to November 2012 he served as Vice President of Business Operations and Executive Director of Marketing and Business Strategy for Performance Chemicals. Prior to that, he served as General Manager of the Aerogel business from October 2007 to February 2010.

Friedrich von Gottberg

Mr. Friedrich von Gottberg is Senior Vice President and President of Purification Solutions of the Company. Mr. von Gottberg joined Cabot in 1997. Since joining the Company, he has held a variety of leadership positions in Research and Development and Finance. Prior to assuming his current role in January 2013, he was Vice President of the New Business Group from March 2008 until March 2012, and Senior Vice President and President of Advanced Technologies from March 2012 until January 2013. He was appointed interim Chief Technology Officer in May 2017. Mr. von Gottberg was appointed Vice President in March 2005 and Senior Vice President in March 2012.

Christine Yan

Ms. Christine Yingli Yan is Director of the Company. Ms. Yan started her career at Stanley Black & Decker as an engineering intern in 1989 and progressed to be the first female business unit president for the company in 2006 when she became President of Global Automotive for the Engineered Fastening Business. Ms. Yan also serves as a director of Modine Manufacturing Company, ON Semiconductor and Ansell Limited and serves on the advisory board for Goldman Sach’s China-US Industrial Cooperation Partnership. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Shandong University in Shandong, China, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Dr. Cynthia A. Arnold is Independent Director of the Company. She was Chief Technology Officer, The Valspar Corporation, a global paint and coatings company, January 2011 to May 2017, Chief Technology Officer, Sun Chemical Corporation, a producer of inks, coatings and supplies, pigments, polymers, liquid compounds, solid compounds and application materials, 2004 to December 2010, Vice President of Coatings, Adhesives and Specialty Chemicals Technology, Eastman Chemical Company, a global advanced materials and specialty additives company, 2003-2004. Management and technology leadership positions, General Electric Company, a high technology industrial leader, 1994 to 2003. William Kirby

Mr. William C. Kirby is Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Kirby is Spangler Family Professor of Business Administration, Harvard Business School; T.M. Dr. Wolfgruber was CEO, Altana AG, a global specialty chemicals company, 2007 until retirement January 2016, President and CEO, Altana Chemie AG, member of the management board of Altana AG, 2002 to 2007, Management positions at Wacker-Chemie in the U.S. and Europe, 1985 to 2002. Supervisory Board Member, Lanxess AG, a leading global manufacturer of synthetic rubber and chemical intermediates (2015 to present), Supervisory Board, Altana AG (2016 to present), Supervisory Board, Grillo-Werke AG, a manufacturer and supplier of zinc alloy products and chemicals (2014 to present), ?Chairman, Ardex Group, a global supplier of high-performance specialty building materials (2015 to present) Dr. Wolfgruber has extensive leadership experience managing specialty chemicals businesses with global operations, with particular expertise in manufacturing, strategic investments and acquisitions.

Steve Delahunt

Mr. Steve Delahunt is Vice President, Treasury and Investor Relations of the Company. Delahunt joined Cabot in 2010 as Vice President and Corporate Treasurer. Mr. Delahunt will continue as Corporate Treasurer in addition to his new responsibilities for Investor Relations. Prior to joining Cabot, Mr. Delahunt held several senior financial positions including Vice President and Treasurer for Sepracor Inc. and Vice President and Treasurer for PerkinElmer, Inc. Delahunt earned his MBA and BS in Business Administration from Boston University.
