Name Description

William Thorndike

Mr. William N. Thorndike, Jr., has been appointed as Independent Chairman of the Board of the Company., He joined the CNX Board in October 2014. Mr. Thorndike was named our Chairman on May 11, 2016. He currently serves as a member of the Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and HSE Committee. He founded Housatonic Partners, a private equity firm, in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1994 and has been a Managing Director since that time. Prior to founding Housatonic Partners, Mr. Thorndike worked with T. Rowe Price Associates and Walker & Company, a publishing company, where he was named to the Board of Directors. Mr. Thorndike has served as a director of over 30 companies since founding Housatonic Partners. He is currently a director of Carillon Assisted Living, LLC; Lincoln Peak Holdings, LLC; OASIS Group Ltd.; QMC International, LLC; and Zirco DATA. He also serves as a Trustee of Stanford Business School Trust, and WGBH, a public broadcaster serving southern New England, and is the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the College of the Atlantic. Mr. Thorndike is the author of “The Outsiders: Eight Unconventional CEOs and Their Radically Rational Blueprint for Success.”

Nicholas DeIuliis

Mr. Nicholas J. DeIuliis is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the company. He serves as a Director and the President and Chief Executive Officer of CNX. Prior to the Separation, Mr. DeIuliis had more than 25 years of experience with the Company and in that time held the positions of CEO since May 7, 2015, President since February 23, 2011, and previously served as the Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President – Strategic Planning, and, earlier in his career, various engineering positions. On January 3, 2018, Mr. DeIuliis was appointed Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the general partner of CNXM. He was a Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of CNX Gas Corporation from its creation in 2005 through 2009. Mr. DeIuliis was a Director and Chairman of the Board of the general partner of CONSOL Coal Resources LP (formerly known as CNX Coal Resources LP) from March 16, 2015 until November 28, 2017. Mr. DeIuliis is a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute and the Center for Responsible Shale Development. Mr. DeIuliis is a registered engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a member of the Pennsylvania bar.

David Khani

Mr. David M. Khani serves as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, Treasurer of the Company. He joined CONSOL Energy on September 1, 2011 as its Vice President - Finance, and was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective March 1, 2013. Prior to joining CONSOL Energy, Mr. Khani was with FBR Capital Markets & Co. ("FBR"), an investment banking and advisory firm and held the following positions: Director of Research from February 2007 through October 2010, and then Co-Director of Research from November 2010 through August 2011. Effective May 30, 2014, Mr. Khani became a director and the Chief Financial Officer of the general partnership of CONE Midstream Partners LP. He was appointed a director of the general partner of CNX Coal Resources, LP effective March 16, 2015.

Donald Rush

Mr. Donald W. Rush has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of the Company. He has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CNX Resources Corporation since July 11, 2017. He previously served as Vice President of Energy Marketing where he oversaw the Company's commercial functions, including mergers and acquisitions, gas marketing and transportation, in addition to holding other strategy and planning, business development and engineering positions during his 13 years with the Company. He successfully guided the Company through every significant transaction during its transition into a pure play natural gas exploration and production company, including the sale of the Company's five West Virginia coal mines in 2013 and the separation of the Company’s Marcellus Shale joint venture with Noble Energy Inc. in 2016. On January 3, 2018, Mr. Rush was appointed as a Director and named Chief Financial Officer of the general partner of CNX Midstream Partners LP (formerly known as CONE Midstream Partners, LP). Mr. Rush holds a B.S in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.B.A from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.

Chad Griffith

Mr. Chad A. Griffith is Chief Operating Officer of the Company. He served as Vice President, Commercial and Vice President of Marketing of CNX and President of the General Partner. Mr. Griffith served as the Director of Marketing of CNX from November 2015 to January 2018. He was the Director of Diversified Business Units from April 2014 to November 2015. Prior to that role, Mr. Griffith held several positions with the Land Department at CNX, including the Director of Title and Land Services. Since February 2019, he has served on the board of directors of the General Partner. Mr. Griffith started working for CNX in 2011 and holds a bachelor’s degree from Frostburg State University, a law degree from West Virginia University College of Law, and an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business. Mr. Griffith is a licensed attorney in Maryland and licensed but inactive in West Virginia.

James Brock

Mr. James A. Brock is a Executive Vice President, Chief Executive Officer - Coal Business of the company. Mr. Brock has been Chief Operating Officer - Coal of CONSOL Energy since December 10, 2010. On September 20, 2016 he was given the additional title of Executive Vice President. Prior to this appointment, he served as Senior Vice President - Northern Appalachia - West Virginia Operations of CONSOL Energy beginning December 3, 2007. From September 7, 2006 until December 3, 2007 he served as Vice President-Operations. Mr. Brock began his career with CONSOL Energy in 1979 at the Matthews Mine and since then has served at various locations in many positions including Section Foreman, Mine Longwall Coordinator, General Mine Foreman, and Superintendent. Mr. Brock was appointed the Chief Executive Officer and a director of the general partner of CNX Coal Resources, LP effective March 16, 2015.

Timothy Dugan

Mr. Timothy C. Dugan is no longer Executive Vice President of the Company, effective December 31, 2019. Mr. Dugan has served as an Executive Vice President since September 20, 2016, and Chief Operating Officer of CNX Resources Corporation since January 28, 2014. Mr. Dugan also held the positions of President and Chief Operating Officer of CNX Gas Corporation from May 2014 to December 2014 when he became President and Chief Executive Officer of CNX Gas Corporation, a position he continues to hold. Mr. Dugan was appointed Director and named Chief Operating Officer of the general partner of CNX Midstream Partners LP (formerly known as CONE Midstream Partners, LP) on January 3, 2018, and January 12, 2018, respectively. Prior to joining CNX, Mr. Dugan was Vice President - Appalachia South Business Unit at Chesapeake Energy Corporation, a petroleum and natural gas exploration and production company. During his seven years with Chesapeake Energy, he held several titles, including Senior Asset Manager and District Manager. Mr. Dugan began his petroleum and natural gas engineering career in 1984 with Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation as a General Foreman and Field Consultant, and he held other industry related positions with progressing responsibility at various oil and gas companies. Mr. Dugan is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Stephen Johnson

Mr. Stephen W. Johnson is Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative officer of the company. Mr. Johnson serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of CNX Resources Corporation. Mr. Johnson served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of the Company from the Company's separation into two separate companies on November 28, 2017 until September 25, 2018. Between December 31, 2012 and January 1,2017 , Mr. Johnson served as Executive Vice President - Diversified Business Units and Chief Legal and Corporate Affairs Officer, and as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of both the Company and CNX Gas Corporation. On May 30, 2014, Mr. Johnson became a Director of the general partner of CNX Midstream Partners LP (formerly known as CONE Midstream Partners LP). Mr. Johnson was a Director of the general partner of CONSOL Coal Resources LP (formerly known as CNX Coal Resources LP) from March 16, 2015 until November 28, 2017. Mr. Johnson has spent numerous years in the natural resources industry, including 13 years with CNX Resources Corporation, the Company, and CNX Gas Corporation and a number of years prior to that representing natural resources companies in private legal practice. Mr. Johnson is the Chairman of the Board of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, a nonprofit continuing care retirement community, and the former Chairman of NEED, a nonprofit minority college access program.

Olayemi Akinkugbe

Mr. Olayemi Akinkugbe is Chief Excellence Officer of the Company. He will serve as the Executive Vice President and Chief Excellence Officer of CNX. As the Executive Vice President and Chief Excellence Officer of CNX, Mr. Akinkugbe will oversee the Company’s operational- and corporate-support functions. Prior to assuming this role, Mr. Akinkugbe served as Director Virginia Operations, a role he assumed in July 2018. Mr. Akinkugbe served as Director Business Development from September 2017 through July 2018, General Manager - Planning and Petroleum Reserves from February 2014 through September 2017, and served in various other positions, including with the Engineering Department, throughout his tenure at CNX, which started in 2003. Mr. Akinkugbe holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from West Virginia University and an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.

Ian McGuire

J. Palmer Clarkson

Mr. J. Palmer Clarkson Independent Director of the company. Mr. Clarkson joined the CNX Board in May 2017. He is the founder and, since 1992, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bridgestone HosePower, LLC, previously Hosepower, the largest U.S. based service provider of hydraulic and industrial hoses used in construction machinery, mining, oil field equipment and factories. Mr. Clarkson currently serves as Chairman of the HSE Committee and as a member of the Compensation Committee and NCG Committee. Mr. Clarkson currently sits on the Board of Directors at Bridgestone HosePower, LLC, Hawkson Properties, Inc., Bridgestone Industrial Products Group – Japan and Actuant Corporation. Mr. Clarkson previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Anchor Coupling Company from 1987 to 1992. He also sits on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.

William Davis

Mr. William E. Davis is a Independent Director of CONSOL Energy Inc. He joined the CNX Board in January 2004. He currently serves as Chair of the Compensation Committee and as a member of the Audit Committee and HSE Committee. From November 2007 until December 2010, Mr. Davis was a Director of AbitibiBowater Inc., which produced a broad range of forest products marketed around the world, and served on its governance, finance and audit committees. Mr. Davis was a Director of Abitibi Consolidated Inc., which produced newsprint and commercial printing paper, from April 2003 to November 2007, and served on its audit and nominating and governance committees. Mr. Davis was also the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, an electricity and natural gas utility located in upstate New York, from May 1993 to February 2002. Following the sale of Niagara Mohawk in February 2002, and until his retirement in April 2003, Mr. Davis served as Chairman of National Grid USA and as an Executive Director of National Grid (UK), owner and operator of the electricity transmission network in England and Wales. He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Metropolitan Development Foundation of Central New York until December 4, 2008.

Maureen Lally-Green

Jud. Maureen E. Lally-Green is Independent Director of CONSOL Energy Inc., effective June 6, 2013. Ms. Lally-Green joined the CNX Board in June 2013. Ms. Lally-Green currently serves as Chair of the NCG Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee and HSE Committee. Ms. Lally-Green currently serves as the Dean of Duquesne University School of Law (as of July 1, 2016). She has served on the board of Federated Mutual Fund Complex since August 2009 and was appointed to serve on its audit committee in May 2013. Ms. Lally-Green has served in various legal and business roles and directorship positions throughout her career. She previously served as Associate General Secretary, Diocese of Pittsburgh (retired August 2015), as a member of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania (retired 2009), and as a Professor of Law, Duquesne University School of Law (1983-98, both adjunct and full-time), where she currently teaches two courses. Other relevant experience includes her service as a consultant to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, counsel in the law department at the former Westinghouse Electric Corporation and counsel at the Division of Trading and Markets and Enforcement at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. She also holds the following positions: member, Pennsylvania State Board of Education; Director and Chair, UPMC Mercy Hospital; Director and Vice Chair, Our Campaign for the Church Alive!, Inc.; and Director, Saint Vincent College, Latrobe, PA. Ms. Lally-Green also has held the positions of: Director, Auberle; Director, Ireland Institute of Pittsburgh; Director, Saint Thomas More Society; Director, Epilepsy Foundation of Western and Central Pennsylvania; Director, Pennsylvania Bar Institute; Director and Chair, North Catholic High School, Inc.; and Director and Chair, Catholic High Schools of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, Inc. She is a member, among others, of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association.

Bernard Lanigan

Mr. Bernard Lanigan Jr., is a Independent Director of the Company. He joined the CNX Board in May 2016. Mr. Lanigan currently serves as Chair of the Audit Committee and as a member of the HSE Committee and NCG Committee. He founded and has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Southeast Asset Advisors, Inc., an investment advisor and wealth management company, since 1991. He also founded and has served as Chairman of Lanigan & Associates, P.C., a certified public accounting and consulting firm, since 1974. Mr. Lanigan currently serves on the boards of directors of Rayonier Inc. since 2015, as well as various nonpublic companies and various endowments and private foundations. Previously, Mr. Lanigan served on the boards of directors of Texas Industries, Inc. and Ruby Tuesday, Inc.
