Name Description

Jerome Smith

Mr. Jerome J. Smith is no longer Chairman of the Board of First Business Financial Services Inc., effective October 26, 2018. He has served as a director of the Company since December 1989, and Chair of the Board of the Company since July 2006. He served as Chief Executive Officer from December 1989 to December 2006. He served as President of the Company from December 1989 to February 2005. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of FBB, from December 1989 to July 1999 and as Chair of the FBB Board from April 2001 to December 2003. Mr. Smith currently serves on the board of directors of Secura Insurance Companies.The particular and specific experience, qualifications, attributes or skills that led the Board to conclude Mr. Smith is qualified to serve on the Board include his over 40 years of executive-level experience in the financial services industry, including 16 years as the Company’s CEO, over 30 years of governance experience through service on the boards of other privately held companies and non-profit organizations, CEO-level experience in strategy development and implementation, merger and acquisition experience, strong background in sales and marketing management and National Association of Corporate Directors director certification.

Corey Chambas

Mr. Corey A. Chambas is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of First Business Financial Services Inc. He has served as a director of FBFS since July 2002, as Chief Executive Officer since December 2006 and as President since February 2005. He served as Chief Operating Officer of FBFS from February 2005 to September 2006 and as Executive Vice President from July 2002 to February 2005. He served as Chief Executive Officer of FBB from July 1999 to September 2006 and as President of FBB from July 1999 to February 2005. He also currently serves as a director of our subsidiaries FBCC and First Madison Investment Corp. Mr. Chambas has over 25 years of commercial banking experience. Edward Sloane

Mr. Edward G. Sloane, Jr. CPA is Chief Financial Officer of First Business Financial Services, Inc. He has over 30 years of financial services’ experience including mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and financial reporting and analysis. Mr. Sloane was previously Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer with Peoples Bancorp, Inc. in Marietta, Ohio from 2008 to 2015. He also served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning & Analysis for WesBanco, Inc. in Wheeling, West Virginia from 2006 to 2008, as Senior Vice President and Controller from 1998 to 2006 and in various other capacities from 1989 to 1998.

Charles Batson

Mr. Charles H. Batson is President and Chief Executive Officer of First Business Capital Corp., a subsidiary Company of First Business Financial Services Inc., since January 2006. He also serves as a director for FBCC. Mr. Batson has over 30 years of experience in asset-based lending. Directly prior to joining FBCC, Mr. Batson served as Vice President and Business Development Manager for Wells Fargo Business Credit, Inc. since 1990.

Joan Burke

Ms. Joan A. Burke is President of First Business Bank’s Trust Division, a subsidiary Company of First Business Financial Services Inc., since September 2001. Ms. Burke has over 30 years of experience in providing trust services, investment management, mutual fund management and brokerage services. Prior to joining FBFS, Ms. Burke was President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of the Board of Johnson Trust Company and certain of its affiliates.

Mark Meloy

Mr. Mark J. Meloy is President, Chief Executive Officer of First Business Bank, a subsidiary of First Business Financial Services Inc., since December 2007. Mr. Meloy joined FBFS in 2000 and has held various positions including Executive Vice President of FBB and President and Chief Executive Officer of FBB-Milwaukee. He currently serves as CEO of FBEF. He also currently serves as a director of subsidiaries FBB and FBEF. Mr. Meloy has over 25 years of commercial lending experience. David Vetta

Mr. David J. Vetta is President and Chief Executive Officer of First Business Bank, Milwaukee, a subsidiary Company of First Business Financial Services Inc., since January 2007. He also serves as a director for FBB-Milwaukee. Prior to joining FBB-Milwaukee, Mr. Vetta was Managing Director at JP Morgan Asset Management since 1992 overseeing National Institutional Investment Sales teams and the Regional Private Client Group, while serving as a member of the executive committee. Mr. Vetta was affiliated with JP Morgan Chase and its predecessor companies in various other roles from 1976 to 1992.

David Seiler

Mr. David R. Seiler is a Chief Operating Officer of the FIRST BUSINESS FINANCIAL SERVICES, INC. and President and Chief Executive Officer of Alterra Bank, a wholly owned bank subsidiary of the Company. He has nearly 25 years of financial services experience including his previous position as Managing Director (formerly Senior Vice President/Manager) of the Correspondent Banking Division with BMO Harris Bank, N.A. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin which he held from 2007 to 2016. Prior to that, he held the position of Senior Vice President/Team Leader, Correspondent Real Estate Division from 2005 to 2007 and Vice President, Relationship Manager, Commercial Real Estate from 2002 to 2005.

Barbara Conley

Ms. Barbara McCarty Conley is Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary of First Business Financial Services Inc., since December 2007. Ms. Conley also serves as the General Counsel, Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary of the Banks. She has also served as a Director of FBCC since June 2009. Ms. Conley has over 30 years of experience in commercial banking. Directly prior to joining FBFS in 2007, Ms. Conley was a Senior Vice President in Corporate Banking with Associated Bank. She had been employed at Associated Bank since May 1976.

James Ropella

Mr. James F. Ropella is Senior Vice President, Treasurer of the FIRST BUSINESS FINANCIAL SERVICES, INC.. He was Chief Financial Officer of the First Business Financial Services Inc. Mr. Ropella also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of each of the Banks. He also currently serves as a director of subsidiaries First Madison Investment Corp. and FBB - Milwaukee. Mr. Ropella has over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting, primarily in the banking industry. Prior to joining FBFS, Mr. Ropella was treasurer of a consumer products company. Prior to that, he was Treasurer of Firstar Corporation, now known as U.S. Bancorp.

Ms. Jodi A. Chandler is the Senior Vice President - Human Resources & Administration of First Business Financial Services, Inc., since January 2010. Prior to that, she held the position of Senior Vice President-Human Resources for several years. She has been an employee of FBFS for over 20 years.

Michael Losenegger

Mr. Michael J. Losenegger is the Chief Credit Officer of First Business Financial Services Inc., since May 2011. Mr. Losenegger also serves as the Chief Credit Officer of the Banks. He also currently serves as a director for our subsidiaries FBCC, FBEF and FBB-Milwaukee. Prior to being appointed Chief Credit Officer, Mr. Losenegger served as FBFS’s Chief Operating Officer since September 2006. Mr. Losenegger joined FBFS in 2003 and has held various positions with FBB, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Losenegger has over 25 years of experience in commercial lending. Mark Bugher

Mr. Mark D. Bugher is an Independent Director of First Business Financial Services Inc. He has served as a director of the Company since July 2005 and is a member of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and the Compensation Committee. Mr. Bugher served as the Director of University Research Park in Madison, Wisconsin from 1999 until his retirement in November 2013. University Research Park is a non-profit research and technology park involved in developing, leasing and managing properties for technology sector businesses affiliated with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to this role, Mr. Bugher served as the Secretary of the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration from 1996 to 1999. From 1988 to 1996, he served as Secretary of the State of Wisconsin Department of Revenue. Mr. Bugher serves on the board of directors of MGE Energy, Inc. and its affiliate, Madison Gas and Electric Company and also serves on the audit committee of MGE Energy, Inc. Mr. Bugher additionally serves on the board of directors and as Chair of the Marshfield Clinic Health System and has served in leadership positions as chairman or board member for many organizations promoting economic development in Wisconsin.The particular and specific experience, qualifications, attributes or skills that led the Board to conclude Mr. Bugher should serve as a Company director includes executive level experience in strategy development and implementation, governance experience through service on boards including a public company board and other board committees, economic development expertise and a strong background in the commercial real estate, government and health care sectors.

Jan Eddy

Ms. Jan A. Eddy is an Independent Director of First Business Financial Services Inc., since October 2003. She is the Chair of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and serves on the Compensation Committee. From April 1990 to May 2010, she served as a director of FBB and served as Chair of the FBB Board of Directors (the “FBB Board”) from January 2004 to May 2010. Ms. Eddy founded Wingra Technologies, a designer and distributor of software, and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Wingra Technologies from October 1991 to January 2005, when Quest Software purchased Wingra Technologies. Ms. Eddy held the position of Business Development Executive at Quest Software from January 2005 until her retirement in October 2005. Ms. Eddy has served on the boards of other privately held companies and non-profit organizations and is currently a director of Edgewood College and the Sauk Prairie Healthcare Foundation.

John Harris

Mr. John J. Harris is an Independent Director of First Business Financial Services, Inc., since January 30, 2012. Mr. Harris served as a professional in the investment banking industry for most of his career, most recently as Managing Director of the Investment Banking Financial Institutions Group of Stifel Nicolaus Weisel. Mr. Harris retired from this position in 2010. Prior to this role, Mr. Harris was Managing Director of the Investment Banking Financial Institutions Group of Piper Jaffrey & Co. from 2005 to 2007 and a Principal in the Investment Banking Financial Institutions Group of William Blair & Co., LLC from 2000 to 2005.

Gerald Kilcoyne

Mr. Gerald L. Kilcoyne has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of First Business Financial Services, Inc., effective October 26, 2018. He has served as Chair of the FBB Board since May 2010 and has been a member of the FBB Board since August 2005. He has served as a director of First Business Equipment Finance, LLC (“FBEF”) a wholly-owned subsidiary of FBB since January 2006. He served as a director of FBCC from January 2006 to December 2013. Mr. Kilcoyne has been Managing Partner of Pinnacle Enterprises, LLC, a private investment holding company, since February 1997.

W. Kent Lorenz

Mr. W. Kent Lorenz is Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Lorenz is the retired Chairman and CEO of Acieta LLC, a provider of advanced industrial robotic automation systems to North American manufacturers and their global affiliates. He is the Managing Partner of DKR Investors LLC, a commercial real estate investment company based in Pewaukee, Wis. He has served as a member of the First Business Bank Board since August, 2017. In 2014, he was appointed to serve on the Wisconsin Technical College System Board of Directors where he currently serves as Board Secretary. Mr. Lorenz also serves on the advisory board of Essential Industries in Merton, Wis., and is an advisor to UW-Madison based startup C-Motive. In the local community, Mr. Lorenz serves on the Western Lakes Fire District Board of Directors as Treasurer and on the Advisory Board for Pewaukee High School’s “Project Lead the Way” program. He also has served on the United Way of Waukesha and Milwaukee’s Cabinet Committee for the past three years. He is the past Chairman of the Manufacturing Executive Committee for the Waukesha County Business Alliance.

Carol Sanders

Ms. Carol P. Sanders is Independent Director of the FIRST BUSINESS FINANCIAL SERVICES, INC.. Ms. Sanders has been the President of Carol Sanders Consulting, LLC since July 2015, a business consulting firm serving insurance and technology clients. Previously she was a senior financial executive having served primarily in the insurance industry. From June 2013 to June 2015, Ms. Sanders served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Sentry Insurance a Mutual Company, a property and casualty insurance carrier based in Wisconsin. Additionally, Ms. Sanders served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company, a specialty property and casualty insurance company based in Wisconsin, from November 2012 to July 2013. While at Jewelers Mutual, she also served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from May 2011 until November 2012 and as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from 2004 until May 2011. Ms. Sanders has been on the Board of Directors of Alliant Energy Corporation, a publicly-traded public utility holding company (NYSE: LNT) based in Wisconsin, since 2005. She is currently serving as chair of the compensation and personnel committee, as a member of both the executive and nominating and governance committees and previously served as the chair of the audit committee for six years. In May 2016, Ms. Sanders joined the Board of Directors of RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd., a publicly traded global provider of reinsurance and insurance (NYSE: RNR) based in Bermuda, and serves as a member of the audit committee.
