Name Description

Mario Moretti Polegato

Mr. Mario Moretti Polegato serves as the Chairman of the Board and an Executive Director of Geox S.p.A. He is the Founder of the Company. He also serves as Chairman of the Executive and Member of the Ethics and Sustainable Development Committees of the Company. In 2003 he also received an honorary Doctorate degree from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of the Banatului-Timisoara University and was also appointed Probiviro of Confindustria for a four-year term. In 2003 he has also been a Board Member of Siparex Italia. In 2004 he founded the ONLUS Il Ponte del Sorriso. He received the 2004 Marketing Award from the Italian Marketing Association, and the Fidelity to Work Award from the Consorzio dei Santi Crispino e Crispiniano. In 2005 he was appointed as a Cavaliere del Lavoro and a Director of UPA. He received an ad honorem degree in Chemistry and Environmental Compatibility from the University of Ca Foscari. In 2006 he was appointed as Affiliate Professor of Entrepreneurship by ESCP-EAP European School of Management Italia, Grand’Ufficiale al Merito della Repubblica Italiana and he received a ad honorem Master by the CUOA Foundation of corporate management of Vicenza. In 2007 he received the award Premio Leone del Veneto from the Ufficio di Presidenza del Consiglio Regionale del Veneto and he was elected member of the Managing Committee of Comitato Leonardo - Italian Quality Committee. In 2008 he gained the International Career Award from the European Academy for Economic and Cultural Relations and was appointed as Member of the Executive Council of Confindustria. In 2009 he was appointed as part of the International Advisory Council of the Universita Bocconi. In February 2010 CNBC and Financial Times conferred him the title of Innovator of the Year during the CNBC European Business Leaders Awards. He completed his studies as an Enologist and graduated in Law.

Matteo Mascazzini

Mr. Matteo Mascazzini has served as Chief Executive Officer, Director of GEOX S.P.A. since February 1, 2018. He is Member of the Executive Committee of the Company. Mr. Matteo Mascazzini graduated in Business Administration from the city’s Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in 1993 and went on to complete a Masters in Finance at the London Business School. He previously worked for Gucci group for over 10 years where he held global positions. From 2016, he was Chief Operating Officer for Gucci America (sales of approx. USD 1.3 billion). Prior to this, he held the role of Worldwide Senior Vice President Retail & Consumer Management (around 500 stores and 6,000 employees) and was Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and President of Gucci Japan (Tokyo), Gucci America (New York) and Gucci Europe, Middle East and India, respectively. Before working for Gucci group, from 2003 to 2007, Matteo Mascazzini held important roles for Armani Group, including Chief Operating Officer of the Giorgio Armani Corporation in New York and, prior to this, CEO of Giorgio Armani Australia and CFO of Giorgio Armani Japan. Between 1995 and 2003, he was a controller for the Gianni Versace group, first in America and then for the Group as a whole.

Enrico Moretti Polegato

Mr. Enrico Moretti Polegato serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board and an Executive Director of Geox S.p.A. since February 27, 2008. Prior to his appointment, he served as an Executive Director of the Company. He also serves as a Member of the Executive Committee of the Company. In 2000 he got a diploma from the technical institute "Luigi Einaudi” of Montebelluna, with a score of 100/100. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Universita degli Studi di Padova (103/110). Thesis: “Goodwill and negative goodwill as results of a merger”. After a stage at a local bank, he had his traineeship with the “Mognon and Associates” Law Firm of Treviso. In 2008 he passed the State Legal Profession Examination. On October 2008 he was appointed as a member of the Board of Unindustria Treviso.

Livio Libralesso

Dr. Livio Libralesso has served as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director, Financial Reporting Officer of Geox S.p.A. since April 19, 2016. He joined the Company in 2001. Prior to joining, he served with international auditing firm and has matured experience with international listed companies as Safilo and Benetton. He is a Certified Public Accountant, registered with the special register of accountants (Revisori Contabili) kept by the Italian Ministry of Justice. He holds a degree in Economics from Universita Ca' Foscari Venezia.

Claudia Baggio

Ms. Claudia Baggio has served as Executive Director of Geox S.p.A. since 2013. She graduated in Law from Universita degli Studi di Padova. Registered in the Registry of Attorneys of Padua since 2009, she worked at the Patavino Court until 2013. In 2014, she moved to the Bar of Venice, working in a private practice in San Marco (civil sector, industrial law with special interest in international affairs). During the last few years, she has broadened her focus to include industrial law and corporate social responsibility, participating in various initiative, including the "English for Law" seminar in London at the Law Society of England and Wales. In December 2013, she taught a course for students in the "Communication Law for Businesses and the Media," IUSVE, the 5-year degree program in Communication Creativity and Design and Web Marketing & Digital Communication - Venice. In August 2014, she participated in "The Aspen Seminar on Leadership, Values and the Good Society" seminar held at the Aspen Institute, Colorado. From November 2013 to December 2014, she participated in the III University Master Program in Corporate Social Responsibility: “Ethics Company Management“– VII edition at the University of Cà Foscari Venice -SDA Bocconi School of Management– Studium Generale Marcianum Foundation.

Alessandro Giusti

Dr. Alessandro Antonio Giusti has served as Executive Director and Head of Internal Audit of Geox S.p.A. since 2013. He was appointed Non-Executive Lead Independent Director of the Company on April 21, 2010 and was previously Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company. He is also Member of the Remuneration, Nominating and of the Audit Committees of the Company. He is a business consultant and operates in his office having seats in Prato, Florence and London. He has been a member of the Council of Business Consultants Register of Prato as from 1988 to 1991, registered at the National Register of Statutory Auditors, and the Role of Arbitrators of Florence. He is a technical consultant at the Court of Prato for business, corporate, and fiscal matters, and commercial and international law, and a consultant of the criminal judge. He is a financial companies inspector, a member of some technical commissions at the National Board of Business Consultants (the last commission was the one for small and medium companies), and a teacher for the Italian corporate law reform commission. He is Honorary General Consul of Tuscany and Marche to the Principality of Monaco in Florence. Moreover, he is an Auditor in some companies, also listed companies, such as Toscana Finanza SpA, Fidicontrol SpA, Firenze Fiera SpA, Associazione Industriali Pratesi, Armonia Sim SpA, President of the Collegio dei Revisori della Provincia di Prato, President of the Body of Statutory Auditors of APT Firenze – Azienda per il Turismo di Firenze, and a consultant of a number of joint-venture companies. He graduated in Economics from Universita degli Studi di Firenze.

Ernesto Albanese

Mr. Ernesto Albanese has acted as Independent Director of GEOX S.P.A. since April 19, 2016. He is Member of the Nominating and Remuneration Committees of the Company. He graduated in Political Sciences at Universita degli Studi di Napoli in 1986 and he holds a master degree from Unioncamere di Roma in Business and Economics. He served in Alitalia SpA in the marketing area, in Eurofly SpA as a general manager, in Gruppo SEAT Pagine Gialle and in Gialloviaggi as Chief Executive Officer. Moreover, he Served in Coni Servizi SpA as General Manager, in Fondiaria-Sai as CEO and in Fondazione Enpam as Senior Advisor.

Francesca Meneghel

Ms. Francesca Meneghel has acted as Independent Director of GEOX S.P.A. since April 19, 2016. She is Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Company. She graduated in Economics at Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Milan. She was selected as Board Ready Woman by Bocconi Alumni Association. She has acted as an accountant since 1993 in companies in different departments. She is Certified Charted Accountant.

Duncan Niederauer

Mr. Duncan L. Niederauer has acted as Independent Director of GEOX S.P.A. since December 22, 2014. He graduated from Bay Shore High School in June of 1977. He earned an MBA from Emory University and a BA from Colgate University. Mr. Duncan L. Niederauer served as Chief Executive Officer of NYSE and President of ICE until September 2014. Duncan L Niederauer was appointed Chief Executive Officer and director of NYSE Euronext on December 1, 2007, after joining NYSE Euronext in 2007 as a member of the management committee. Duncan L Niederauer also served on the boards of NYSE Group and Euronext N.V and previously he served as President and co-Chief Operating Officer of NYSE Euronext with responsibility for U.S. cash equities. During his tenure as Chief Executive Officer of NYSE Euronex, Duncan L Niederauer oversaw the transformation of the company into an innovative, globally integrated organization with a high-tech, high-touch focus. Mr. Duncan L. Niederauer was previously a partner at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (United States) (GS) where he held many positions, among them, co-head of the Equities Division execution services franchise and the managing director responsible for Goldman Sachs Execution & Clearing, L.P. Mr. Duncan L Niederauer joined Goldman Sachs in 1985. Mr. Niederauer is a general partner of 555 Capital, an angel investment fund, and a Managing Director of Battery East, LLC. He has received numerous career distinctions and honors, most notably the John C. Whitehead Award for leadership in 2014. He was also recognized as an Honorary Commander of the British Empire (CBE) by her majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, in 2013 for his efforts to advance the peace process in Northern Ireland. Duncan L Niederauer and his wife led the Newmark School’s “Destination of Promise” campaign, which built a state of the art school for children with autism and related disabilities in Scotch Plains, NJ.

Manuela Soffientini

Ms. Manuela Soffientini has acted as Independent Director of GEOX S.P.A. since April 19, 2016. She is Member of the Audit Committee of the Company. She graduated in Economics at Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milano in 1983. She served as Product Manager in Henkel Italiana, as Marketing Director at Nuova Forneria, as CMSU Manager Consumer Lamps and Batteries at Philips Lighting and as General Manger DAP Italy at Philips DAP. She has been Independent Director of Pirelli and Managing Director of Electrolux Italy.

Lara Livolsi

Ms. Lara Livolsi has served as a Non-Executive Independent Director of Geox S.p.A. since April 17, 2013. She is Chairman of the Remuneration and Nominating Committees of the Company. She attended high school in Switzerland and graduated in Law when she was 23 years old from Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milano; She qualified as a lawyer in 2001 and specialized in corporate law, commercial law, international contracts, and mergers & acquisitions (she has previously worked in law firms of international repute such as NCTM, Mazzoni Associati and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer). She currently operates mainly as legal advisor for sellers or buyers in the purchase or sale of shares, companies or business units in different trade and industry segments. In 2003 she obtained a master’s in Corporate Finance at the SDA Bocconi University in Milan.
