Shrikant Vaidya

Shri. Shrikant Madhav Vaidya serves as Chairman of the Board of the Company. He a Chemical Engineer from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela has over 34 years of extensive experience in refining and petrochemicals operations. He has had a decade-long association with India’s largest cracker plant - the Panipat Naphtha Cracker Complex, a major driver of IndianOil's petrochemicals business — right from the drawing board stage. He is among the select technocrats in the Indian oil & gas industry who are proficient in all facets of refinery-petrochemicals integration, desirable for the sustainability of the oil & gas industry in the long-term. As Director (Refineries) he steered the timely rollout of BS-VI grade auto fuels across the country, commenced supply of IMO-compliant bunker fuel (0.5% Sulphur) and a special winter-grade diesel for the high-altitude regions of the Himalayas, and expanded the Company’s green energy offerings with projects related to bio-fuels and 2G/3G ethanol-blended fuels at its refineries.

Gurmeet Singh

Shri. Gurmeet Singh is Director - Marketing, Whole-Time Director of the Company. Mr. Gurmeet Singh is a Mechanical Engineer, joined IndianOil in 1983. Mr. Singh has handled a variety of portfolios including varied assignments in Project Management, Engineering, Retail Sales and LPG. He brings to the board his expertise as a business head of four geographically and culturally diverse and complex states - viz. Punjab, J&K, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan. As State-in-Charge of IndianOil's two largest State Offices, he was responsible for overseeing all POL business including retail, direct sales, LPG, lube sales, operations, project management, planning, HRD, and Information Technology. A hardcore marketing professional, he was responsible for expanding the retail network and increased market share in both assignments. An authority on LPG, Mr. Singh has handled production and marketing aspects of the LPG Business at field and regional levels in various capacities. He has been instrumental in spearheading various LPG business initiatives across India, including the very successful - 'Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana' which has not only transformed the lives of women in rural India, but led to a revolution in Indian kitchens. A people's person, with an approachable persona, he is also known for his astute project management skills. Widely travelled, Mr. Singh has represented IndianOil in several national and international energy projects and prestigious events like the World LPG Conference.

Ranjan Mohapatra

Shri. Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra serves as Director - Human Resources, Whole-Time Director of the Company. He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from BITS, Pilani, with a PG Diploma in Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. He joined IndianOil in 1987 and gained experience on various business aspects including Terminal Operations, Supply Chain Management & Logistics. With an in-depth knowledge and acumen in Supply Chain & Logistics, Mr. Mohapatra has been associated with evacuation of finished products from IndianOil's domestic refineries and product upliftment agreements with stand-alone refiners as well as other oil marketing companies (OMCs). Mr. Mohapatra was one of the chief architects of the auto fuel quality (BS-III/BS-IV) upgradation programmes of OMCs in India.

B. V. Gopal

Shri. B. V. Rama Gopal serves as Director - Refineries, Whole-Time Director of the Company. He is a Chemical Engineer from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He has over 34 years experience in various positions at Mathura, Haldia, Gujarat Refineries, Panipat Refinery & Petrochemical Complex and Refineries Headquarters. He has extensive work experience in Oil & Gas sector, which includes Project Management, Technical Services, Operations, Production, Planning & Co-ordination, Refineries and Petrochemicals. He has intricate knowledge and operating experience of both refineries and petrochemical units. Mr. Rama Gopal is known in the industry for his innovative ideas and people centric leadership and empowers his team to perform and deliver exceptional results through positive engagement and shared vision. Prior to joining as Director(Refineries), he was Executive Director In-Charge of India's largest integrated Refinery-cum-Petrochemical Complex at Panipat. Mr. Rama Gopal is also a Director on the Board of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (subsidiary of IndianOil) and Ratnagiri Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd. (JV of IndianOil).

S. S. V. Ramakumar

Dr. S. S. V. Ramakumar Ph.D. serves as Director - Research and Development, Whole-Time Director of the Company.D serves as Director - Research and Development, Whole-Time Director of the Company. serves as Director - Research and Development, Whole-Time Director of the Company. He is a doctorate in Chemistry from IIT-Roorkee. He has three decades of uninterrupted R&D experience in downstream hydrocarbons sector, specifically in the areas of lubricant technology, refinery process research streams, catalyst development, and marketing coordination of automotive lubricants. He has played a key role in catapulting SERVO, IndianOil's lubricant brand, into the select league of five MNCs possessing marine oil technology. Dr. Ramakumar has to his credit 40 patents and 127 research publications in world-renowned journals. He is also presently on the Oil Industry Development Board (OIDB) and presides over the activities of the India Energy Forum and the Society for Petroleum Laboratories. Currently, he is a member of professional bodies, viz. Executive Council of PCRA; National Apex Council of Prime Minister's Research Fellowship Scheme for doctoral programmes; Nano Applications and Technology Advisory Group (NATAG), besides being the Convener of Methanol Utilization taskforce of NITI Aayog. He also presides over several national scientific societies, viz. International Council of Internal Combustion Engines-India Chapter (CIMAC-INDIA), Indian Society of Fuels and Lubricants (ISFL), Tribology Society of India (TSI), etc. In recognition of various technologies/products developed at IndianOil, Dr. Ramakumar has received many prestigious awards including the recent World Petroleum Congress (WPC) Excellence award.

G.K. Satish

Shri. G.K.Satish serves as Director - Planning & Business Development, Whole-Time Director of the Company. He is a Mechanical Engineer from NIT, Surat and a Post Graduate in Management from MDI, Gurgaon. He has over 30 years experience in various disciplines in IndianOil like Terminal Operations, Logistics, Shipping, International Trade, Business Development, Natural Gas Business, Human Resources and Corporate Communications. Before joining the Board, he was Execute Director I/C (Gas) in IndianOil. Mr. Satish is also a Director of Petronet LNG Ltd, a Joint Venture Company of IndianOil. He is also a Director on the Board of IndOil Global B.V., IndOil Montney Ltd., Taas India Pte. Ltd. and Vankor India Pte. Ltd., overseas subsidiaries of IndianOil.

Akshay Singh

Shri. Akshay Kumar Singh is Director - Pipelines, Whole-Time Director of the Company. He has more than 3 decades of experience and possesses extensive domain knowledge and has made significant contributions in Petroleum & Natural Gas Sector. Prior to joining IndianOil Board, he was an Executive Director in GAIL. He has vast experience in executing challenging, complex and large size cross country pipeline network of national importance. He has extensive experience in the field of design engineering, planning, exectJtion and O&M of hydrocarbon cross country pipeline system and process plants.

Shri. Ashish Chatterjee serves as Government Nominee Director of the Company. He is a B. Tech (Chemical) and an IAS officer from Tamil Nadu cadre (1999). During his career spanning more than 16 years, he has held various positions in the State of Tamil Nadu at the District and State Level which includes Collector of Viluppuram, Kanchipuram and Tiruvallur Districts. Presently, he is Joint Secretary (GP), Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India. Shri Chatterjee is a Govt. Nominee Director on the Board of GAIL (India) Ltd.

Indrani Kaushal

Smt. Indrani Kaushal serves as Non-Executive Government Nominee Director of the Company. She is an IES officer (1995). Presently, she is Economic Adviser, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India (MoP&NG). Ms. Indrani Kaushal holds Masters in Governance & Development from U.K., Global Think Tank - The Institute of Development Studies and Masters from Delhi School of Economics. Presently, Ms. lndrani Kaushal is a Govt. Nominee Director on the Board of GAIL (India) Ltd. and was earlier Govt. Nominee Director on the Board of Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd.

Rajendra Arlekar

Shri. Rajendra Arlekar has been appointed as Independent Director of the Company. He is a Graduate in Commerce from MES College, Vasco Da Gama. Shri Arlekar has a very successful public life and has been actively engaged in social, educational and cultural activities throughout the State of Goa. He was a Cabinet Minister in the Govt. of Goa and a former Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly. He was also the Chairman of Goa Industrial Development Corporation.

Lata Usendi

Ms. Lata Usendi is Woman Independent Director of the Company. She is a Graduate in Humanities. She has over 20 years experience in the field of agriculture and sbi work. She is actively involved in various community development initiatives in Chhattisgarh specially for the development and welfare of women and children like continuing education programme, organizing health camps, _ skill-development programmes, promoting use of renewable energy, development of rural industry etc. She played an active role in conversion of 125 villages in Baster district into fully sanitized villages.
