Name Description

Robert Switz

Mr. Robert E. Switz serves as Independent Chairman of the Board of Micron Technology Inc. Mr. Switz was the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of ADC Telecommunications, Inc., a supplier of network infrastructure products and services, from August 2003 until December 2010, when Tyco Electronics Ltd. acquired ADC. Mr. Switz joined ADC in 1994 and throughout his career there held numerous leadership positions. Within the past five years, Mr. Switz served on the Board of Directors of GT Advanced Technologies Inc., Broadcom Corporation, Cyan, Inc., Pulse Electronics Corporation, and Leap Wireless International, Inc. Mr. Switz currently serves on the Board of Directors for Marvell Technology Group Ltd., Gigamon, Inc., and FireEye, Inc. Mr. Switz holds an MBA from the University of Bridgeport and a BS in Business Administration from Quinnipiac University. Mr. Switz was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2012.

Sanjay Mehrotra

Mr. Sanjay Mehrotra serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company. Mr. Mehrotra co-founded and led SanDisk Corporation as a start-up in 1988 until its eventual sale in May 2016, serving as its President and Chief Executive Officer from January 2011 to May 2016, and as a member of its Board of Directors from July 2010 to May 2016. Mr. Mehrotra currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cavium, Inc. Mr. Mehrotra served as a member of the Board of Directors for Western Digital Corp. from May 2016 to February 2017. Mr. Mehrotra holds a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley and is a graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Program.

David Zinsner

Mr. David A. Zinsner is appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of the company effective Feb. 19, 2018. He joins Micron with over 20 years of financial and operations experience in the semiconductor and technology industry. He most recently served as president and chief operating officer at Affirmed Networks. Prior to that, Zinsner was senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer for eight years at Analog Devices, and before that, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer for four years at Intersil Corp. Zinsner holds a master's degree in business administration, finance and accounting from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor's degree in industrial management from Carnegie Mellon University.

Manish Bhatia

Mr. Manish Bhatia serves as Executive Vice President, Global Operations of the company. Mr. Manish Bhatia joined us in October 2017 as our Executive Vice President of Global Operations. From May 2016 to October 2017, Mr. Bhatia served as the Executive Vice President of Silicon Operations at Western Digital Corporation. From March 2010 to May 2016, Mr. Bhatia held several executive roles at SanDisk Corporation including Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations when it was acquired by Western Digital in May 2016. Mr. Bhatia holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, each from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Scott DeBoer

Dr. Scott J. DeBoer serves as Executive Vice President - Technology Development of Micron Technology, Inc. Dr. DeBoer joined us in February 1995 and has served in various leadership positions since that time. Dr. DeBoer became an officer in May 2007 and was named Executive Vice President, Technology Development in June 2017. Dr. DeBoer holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Physics from Iowa State University. He completed his undergraduate degree at Hastings College.

Sumit Sadana

Mr. Sumit Sadana serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer of the company. He joined us in June 2017 as our Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer. From April 2010 to May 2016, Mr. Sadana served in various roles at SanDisk Corporation, including most recently as Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer, and General Manager, Enterprise Solutions. Mr. Sadana serves on the Board of Directors of Silicon Laboratories, Inc. Mr. Sadana holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Joel Poppen

Mr. Joel L. Poppen serves as Senior Vice President - Legal Affairs, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary of the Company. Mr. Poppen joined us in October 1995 and has held various leadership positions since that time. He became an officer in December 2013 and was named Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary in June 2017. Mr. Poppen holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a JD from the Duke University School of Law.

Raj Talluri

Mr. Raj Talluri is Senior Vice President and General Manager - Mobile Business Unit of the Company. Talluri is a seasoned leader, with 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry in executive roles spanning business, engineering management and strategic marketing. He joins Micron after nine years at Qualcomm, where he most recently served as senior vice president of product management, responsible for the company's Internet of Things business and, before that, its mobile computing platform. Before joining Qualcomm, Talluri held executive positions at Texas Instruments, where he worked for sixteen years. His last role was general manager of the cellular media solution business in the wireless terminals business unit. Talluri earned a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Texas in Austin. He also earned a Master of Engineering degree from Anna University in Chennai, India, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Andhra University in Waltair, India. He holds 13 U.S. patents relating to image processing, video compression and media processor architectures.

April Arnzen

Ms. April S. Arnzen serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources of the Company. Ms. Arnzen joined us in December 1996 and has served in various leadership positions since that time. Ms. Arnzen became an officer in January 2015 and was named Senior Vice President, Human Resources in June 2017. Ms. Arnzen holds a BS in Human Resource Management and Marketing from the University of Idaho.

Michael Bokan

Mr. Michael Bokan (Mike) is Senior Vice President - Worldwide Sales of the Company. Mr. Bokan is currently corporate vice president of Worldwide Sales at Micron. He joined the company in 1996 and held various sales management positions before moving to Micron's Crucial division, where he eventually became general manager. In 2003, Bokan took on the role of director of Sales for Micron Technology. In 2007 he was promoted to senior director of Sales before becoming vice president of Worldwide OEM Sales in 2008 and corporate vice president of Worldwide Sales in 2018. Bokan earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Colorado State University.

Robert Bailey

Mr. Robert L. Bailey serves as Independent Director of Micron Technology Inc. Mr. Bailey has served as Chief Executive Officer of Blue Willow Systems, Inc. since August 2017 and as Blue Willow's Chairman since March 2015. Blue Willow is a software as a service resident safety platform for senior living facilities. Mr. Bailey was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PMC-Sierra, Inc. from 2005 until May 2011 and also served as PMC's Chairman from February 2000 until February 2003. Mr. Bailey served as a director of PMC from October 1996 to May 2011. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of PMC from July 1997 until May 2008. Within the past five years, Mr. Bailey also served on the Board of Directors of Entropic Communications. Mr. Bailey holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport and an MBA from the University of Dallas.

Richard Beyer

Mr. Richard M. Beyer serves as Independent Director of Micron Technology, Inc. Mr. Beyer was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. ("Freescale") from 2008 through June 2012 and served as a director with Freescale until April 2013. Prior to Freescale, Mr. Beyer was President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Intersil Corporation from 2002 to 2008. He has also previously served in executive management roles at FVC.com, VLSI Technology, and National Semiconductor Corporation. Within the past five years, Mr. Beyer served on the Board of Directors of Freescale. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Dialog Semiconductor and Analog Devices, Inc. Mr. Beyer served three years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a BA and an MA in Russian from Georgetown University and an MBA in Marketing and International Business from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

Patrick Byrne

Mr. Patrick J. Byrne serves as Independent Director of Micron Technology, Inc. Mr. Byrne has served as Senior Vice President of Fortive Corporation since July 2016, when Danaher Corporation completed the separation of its Test & Measurement and Industrial Technologies segments. Mr. Byrne was President of Tektronix, a subsidiary of Danaher, from July 2014 to July 2016. Previously, he was Vice President of Strategy and Business Development and Chief Technical Officer of Danaher from November 2012 to July 2014. Danaher designs, manufactures, and markets innovative products and services to professional, medical, industrial, and commercial customers. Mr. Byrne served as Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of Intermec, Inc. from 2007 to May 2012. Within the past five years, Mr. Byrne served on the Board of Directors of Flow International and Intermec, Inc. Mr. Byrne holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Steven Gomo

Mr. Steven J. Gomo is Director of the Company. Gomo has more than 40 years of global financial and management experience, most recently having served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at NetApp from 2002 to 2011, where he oversaw finance, legal, workplace resources and investor relations functions. During Gomo's tenure, NetApp, a leading provider of innovative storage and data management solutions, experienced exponential business growth, expanding to more than 130 offices worldwide, increasing revenues more than fivefold, and achieving a threefold rise in market cap. Gomo currently serves on the boards of Nutanix, Inc. and Enphase Energy, Inc. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Oregon State University in 1974, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Santa Clara University in 1977.

Mary McCarthy

Ms. Mary Pat McCarthy is Director of the Company. McCarthy is a veteran of KPMG, a world-leading audit, tax and advisory firm, where she led the international practice serving software, electronics, communications and media companies. McCarthy has extensive experience in the technology space through client engagements with many leading companies. As U.S. Vice Chair, McCarthy focused on growing KPMG's global business and developing partners' skills. She also held the position of Executive Director of KPMG's Audit Committee Institute and has deep boardroom experience, along with hands-on involvement with corporate governance, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and the SEC. McCarthy currently serves on the boards of Palo Alto Networks Inc. and most recently Andeavor and Mutual of Omaha. She is a Certified Public Accountant and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Creighton University in 1977.
