Name Description

Stephen Evans

Mr. Stephen J. Evans is Chief Executive Officer, Director of Pure Multi-Family REIT (GP) Inc., the General Partner of Pure Multi-Family REIT LP. He is also the Chief Operating Officer of Sunstone Realty Advisors Inc. (“Sunstone Realty”). Mr. Evans continues his active role in the management of the business of Sunstone Realty, with a focus on enhancing the value of the acquired properties on behalf of the investors. As well, Messrs. Evans and Latoski founded Pure Industrial Real Estate Trust (“PIRET”) in 2007. PIRET is a publicly-listed real estate investment trust (Toronto Stock Exchange: AAR.UN) established for the purposes of acquiring, owning and operating a diversified portfolio of income-producing industrial properties in primary markets across Canada. From September 15, 2008 to December 31, 2009, Mr. Evans was a director of IAT Air Cargo Facilities Income Fund and director of International Aviation Terminals Inc. Mr. Evans commenced as director of Huntingdon Capital Corporation (formerly Huntingdon Real Estate Investment Trust) on January 1, 2010 until September 26, 2012 and is currently a director of WesternOne Inc. and American Hotel Income Properties REIT LP, whose shares are listing for trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Scott Shillington

Mr. Scott Shillington is Chief Financial Officer of Pure Multi-Family REIT (GP) Inc., the General Partner of Pure Multi-Family REIT LP. He is a Chartered Accountant (British Columbia) and has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of British Columbia. From December 2010 to the present, Mr. Shillington has worked as one of two controllers with Sunstone, in addition to his role at Pure Multi. During his time with Sunstone, Mr. Shillington has gained experience in the real estate industry. He has assisted with property acquisitions, the preparation of financial statements and other operations. From December 2006 to March 2010, Mr. Shillington worked with Petro-Canada (Suncor Energy Inc. since August 2009) in the areas of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, IFRS conversion work and related matters.

Robert King

Mr. Robert W. King serves as Lead Independent Director of the General Partner of Pure Multi-Family REIT (GP) Inc., the General Partner of Pure Multi-Family REIT LP. He is also the President of King Pacific Capital Corporation, a private company specializing in mortgage finance and real estate development and investment in Western Canada. Mr. King is also a principal of Westbridge Finance Inc., a full-service commercial mortgage brokerage company. Mr. King is a trustee of PIRET (Toronto Stock Exchange: AAR.UN), Chairman of the Board and director of WesternOne Inc. (Toronto Stock Exchange: WEQ) and is a director of Wall Financial Corporation, a real estate investment and development company whose shares are listed for trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Mr. King is also a director of the general partner and/or corporate trustee of each of the limited partnerships and real estate investment trusts comprising the Sunstone Funds. Mr. King earned his MBA from Dalhousie University in 1992 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia in 1989.

Fraser Berrill

Mr. Fraser R. Berrill serves as an Independent Director of the General Partner of Pure Multi-Family REIT (GP) Inc., the General Partner of Pure Multi-Family REIT LP. Mr. Berrill is the President of Fragin Holdings Limited, a private investment company principally involved in real estate income properties and development in Ontario, Texas and Arizona. He is the former President, Chief Executive Officer and director of Renasant Financial Partners Ltd., a financial services and technology trading organization. Mr. Berrill has served as a director of several public and private companies and has been on the board of TSX-listed Vicwest Inc. since 2009, and has acted as Board Chair since 2011. Mr. Berrill has been a Trustee of Morguard REIT since 2010. In addition, he is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, and holds a designation of Chartered Director from McMaster University. Mr. Berrill is also on the Board of Governors of the University of Windsor.

Maurice Kagan

Mr. Maurice Kagan is Independent Director of the General Partner Pure Multi-Family REIT (GP) Inc., the General Partner of Pure Multi-Family REIT LP. Previously, Mr. Kagan was Chief Executive Officer and owner of Sparkle Solutions Inc., a route operator servicing over 13,000 laundry machines serving the multi-residential housing industry inCanada. Sparkle Solutions Inc. was acquired by a U.S. based laundry operator in 2013. In 1997, Mr. Kagan spearheaded the launch of Residential Equities Real Estate Investment Trust ("RESREIT"), and acted as its Chief Financial Officer until its sale to Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX: CAR.UN) in 2003. Prior to 1997, Mr. Kagan was the Chief Financial Officer of the Greenwin Group, a company that managed over 20,000 apartment units inOntario, Canada. Mr. Kagan is currently a Director of Kew Media Group (TSX: KEW) and Cliffside Capital Ltd. (TSXV: CEP). Mr. Kagan was previously a board member for InterRent REIT (TSX - IIP.UN), and he acted as Chair of the Audit Committees of both Carfinco Financial Group Inc., a lender in the automotive sector through out Canada, and Lonestar West Inc. a company providing hydro vac, vacuum and water truck services across North America. Mr. Kagan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africain 1981, has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Town, and has a certificate in the Theory of Accountancy.

John O'Neill

Mr. John O'Neill is an Independent Director of the General Partner of Pure Multi-Family REIT (GP) Inc., the General Partner of Pure Multi-Family REIT LP. He is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of O'Neill Hotels & Resorts Ltd. and has been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years. He held senior executive positions at Vancouver-based Coast Hotels from 1985 to 1991, and received extensive recognition for his achievements, including being named Canadian Hotelier of the Year by the Canadian Travel and Tourism Industry in 1989, awarded "Top Forty under Forty" from Business in Vancouver magazine, and selected as a finalist for the 1998 Ernst &Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. O'Neill Hotels & Resorts and its subsidiaries currently operate 39 hotels throughout British Columbia and the United States, including the 32 property Oak Tree Inn chain located in 19 U.S. states. Mr. O'Neill is a co-founder of American Hotel Income Properties REIT, formed in 2013, and Canadian Hotel Income Properties REIT ("CHIP REIT"), formed in 1997, and served on CHIP REIT's Board of Trustees from 1999-2002. Mr. O'Neill is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Fraser Institute and a Director of the Minister's Council on Tourism on behalf of British Columbia's Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Innovation. He is a former member of the Faculty Advisory Board of the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business, the Tourism Whistler Board of Directors and the Owners' Advisory Council of Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Sherry Tryssenaar

Ms. Sherry Diane Tryssenaar serves as an Independent Director of Pure Multi-Family REIT (GP) Inc., the General Partner of Pure Multi-Family REIT LP. Ms. Tryssenaar is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Ten Peaks Coffee Company ("Ten Peaks") (TSX: TPK) , and of Ten Peaks' subsidiary, Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Company. Previously, she was Chief Financial Officer, Vice President, Finance and Administration and a director of QuestAir Technologies (TSX: QAR) . Earlier in her career, Ms. Tryssenaar was Director of Corporate Finance with RBC Technology Ventures, and Vice President, Investments of Quorum Funding, a venture capital firm. Ms. Tryssenaar has served on the boards of various companies and not-for-profit organizations, as well as serving as Chair for three not-for-profit boards including Women in Capital Markets (WCM), Dress for Success Vancouver Society and the YWCA Metro Vancouver. She is currently a director of Unit Electrical Engineering, a privately-held company. Ms. Tryssenaar has also been responsible for spearheading a corporate governance framework for a private company's board of directors and served as corporate secretary responsible for maintaining comprehensive corporate governance documents. Ms. Tryssenaar is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (first class honours) from Simon Fraser University and a M.Sc. (Econ) in International Relations from the London School of Economics, which she attended as a Commonwealth Scholar. In 2011, Ms. Tryssenaar was named the BC CFO of the Year in the small public company category by Business in Vancouver. Ms. Tryssenaar was also recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 by Business in Vancouver in 2007.
