Name Description

Bart Shuldman

Mr. Bart C. Shuldman is the Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Transact Technologies Inc. He has been Chief Executive Officer and a director of the Company since its formation in June 1996 and has been Chairman of the Board since February 2001. Mr. Shuldman served as the Company’s President from 1996 until June 2010. Previously, Mr. Shuldman was Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Magnetec Corporation, a former subsidiary of Tridex, from April 1993 to August 1993, and served as President of Magnetec, and later the combined operations of Magnetec and Ithaca Peripherals Incorporated, another former Tridex subsidiary, from August 1993 to June 1996. Mr. Shuldman is the director of another privately held company.

Steven DeMartino

Mr. Steven A. DeMartino is President, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, Treasurer, Secretary of Transact Technologies Inc., effective January 31, 2014. Previously, Mr. DeMartino served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary from June 2004 to May 2010, Senior Vice President, Finance and Information Technology from October 2001 to May 2004, Vice President and Corporate Controller from January 1998 to October 2001, and Corporate Controller from August 1996 to December 1997. Mr. DeMartino is a certified public accountant.

Tracey Chernay

Ms. Tracey S. Chernay is Executive Vice President - Casino and Gaming Sales and Marketing of Transact Technologies Inc. Previously, Ms. Chernay served as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing from June 2007 to May 2010, Sr. Vice President, Marketing & Sales, POS & Banking with the Company from July 2006 to June 2007, and joined TransAct in May of 2005 as Senior Vice President, Marketing. Prior to joining TransAct, Ms. Chernay was employed with Xerox Corporation where she held the role of Manager, Worldwide Marketing since 2003., and Manager, Sales Operations from 2000 to 2002. She joined Xerox Corporation in 1983.

Andrew Newmark

Mr. Andrew Newmark is no longer Executive Vice President - Global Sales and Marketing of the Company effective December 31, 2017. Prior to joining TransAct, Mr. Newmark served in a number of sales, marketing and development roles, including at companies he co-founded. Most recently, he was active as an investor and entrepreneur, supporting a number of venture capital and private equity-backed businesses. From November 2005 to March 2009, he served as Vice President of Business Development for Newell Rubbermaid's Technology division. From June 1998 to November 2005, he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at DYMO, a division of Esselte Corporation, where he directed marketing and new product initiatives and launched an international labeling business under the RHINO brand. From January 1990 to June 1998, he co-founded and served as Senior Vice President of CoStar Corporation, which developed the LabelWriter personal label printer which was eventually acquired by Esselte in 1998. Mr. Newmark also co-founded and served as Chairman of Kensington, a leading maker of computer accessories, from January 1982 to June 1988, a period which included the 1986 sale of Kensington to ACCO Office Products. He holds a BA in Economics from Stanford University.

Donald Brooks

Mr. Donald Brooks is Senior Vice President - Engineering of Transact Technologies Inc. Mr. Brooks has been employed by TransAct for 28 years, most recently serving as Vice President of Engineering. He has held positions at TransAct, including Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, Manager of Electronic Development and Director of Electrical Engineering. Prior to joining TransAct, Mr. Brooks was a Project Engineer at NCR Corporation. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University.

Andrew Hoffman

Mr. Andrew J. Hoffman is Senior Vice President - Operations of Transact Technologies Inc,. He served as Vice President, Operations from September 1994 to November 2004.

John Dillon

Mr. John M. Dillon is an Independent Director of Transact Technologies Inc., Mr. Dillon is the CEO of Engine Yard, Inc., the cloud platform for automating and developing Ruby on Rails and PHP applications. Prior to joining Engine Yard, Mr. Dillon served as CEO for Navis, Inc., a private company specializing in software systems for operating marine container terminals and distribution centers, from 2002-2008. Before Navis, he also served as CEO for Salesforce.com and President and CEO of Hyperion Solutions. He began his career as a Systems Engineer for EDS (Electronic Data Systems) and then moved into a variety of sales management positions for various high-tech companies, including Oracle Corporation. Mr. Dillon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from Golden Gate University. He served on active duty in the nuclear submarine service for five years before beginning his civilian career.

Thomas Schwarz

Mr. Thomas R. Schwarz is an Independent Director of Transact Technologies Inc., He has been a director of the Company since its formation in June 1996 and was Chairman of the Board from June 1996 to February 2001. Mr. Schwarz was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Grossman’s Inc., a retailer of building materials, from 1990 until his retirement in 1994. From 1980 to 1990, he was President, Chief Operating Officer and a director of Dunkin’ Donuts Incorporated, a food service company. Mr. Schwarz is a director of Tanaka Growth Fund and another privately held company.

Graham Tanaka

Mr. Graham Y. Tanaka is an Independent Director of Transact Technologies Inc. Mr. Tanaka has been President of Tanaka Capital Management, Inc., an investment management firm, since 1986. He is a director of Tanaka Funds, Inc. and Tanaka Capital Management, Inc.
