Name Description

Hans Putsch

Mr. Hans Dieter Putsch is Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Volkswagen AG. He studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, from 1973 to 1979. He worked in Controlling at BMW AG in Munich, Germany, from 1979, and subsequently took up the position of Head of Controlling at BMW AG in 1984, serving in this function until 1987. He became General Manager for Finance and Administration at Trumpf GmbH & Co. KG from 1987 to 1991. He served as Chairman of the Board of Management of Traub AG from 1991 to 1995, and was Chairman of the Board of Management at Dürr AG from 1995 to 2002. Pötsch served as Group Board of Management member with responsibility for Finance & Controlling at Volkswagen AG from 2003 to 2015. He has served as Board member for Finance at Porsche Automobil Holding SE since 2009. Since 2015 he has served as Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche Automobil Holding SE and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG. Among his other mandates, Hans Dieter Pötsch is a member of the Supervisory Board of Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA in Gütersloh, Germany.

Herbert Diess

Dr. Herbert Diess is a Chairman of the Management Board of the Company. He studied vehicle technology at Munich University of Applied Sciences from 1977 and then mechanical engineering at Munich Technical University from 1978 to 1983. After obtaining his degree in engineering, Diess was a scientific assistant at the Institute for Tool Machines and Plant Management of Munich Technical University, where he obtained a doctorate in the field of assembly automation in 1987. From 1988, he headed the Assembly Automation Department of the Institute for Tool Machines and Plant Management. In 1989, he continued his career with Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart. In 1990, he was appointed Technical Director, Planning and Maintenance, of the Robert Bosch plant at Treto in Spain, where he was General Manager from 1993. In 1996, Diess joined BMW AG in Munich as Director, Long-Term and Structural Planning. From 1997, he headed the Process Consulting Department, first in the Production Division and later in the Engineering and Technology Division. He was then assigned to the UK, where he was Director of BMW’s Birmingham plant from 1999; one year later, he became Director of the BMW plant in Oxford. In 2003, he was appointed Director of BMW Motorcycles. In 2007, he became Member of the Board of Management, Purchasing and Supplier Network, and, in 2012, Member of the Board of Management, Development, of BMW AG. Effective July 1, 2015, the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG appointed Dr. Herbert Diess Member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG and Chairman of the Board of Management of the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand. Joerg Hofmann

Mr. Joerg Hofmann is Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Employee Representative at Volkswagen AG since November 20, 2015. fter obtaining his Abitur (higher school-leaving certificate) in 1975, Hofmann trained in the agricultural sector from 1975 to 1976. He studied economics and sociology at the universities of Stuttgart-Hohenheim, Germany, Paris, France, and Bremen, Germany, from 1975 to 1984, graduating with a degree in economics. He was a research associate at the Institute for Industrial Management of the University of Stuttgart-Hohenheim, Germany, from 1982 to 1984. He worked for IG Metall as an expert on new technologies and work organization from 1982 to 1987. Hofmann served as trade union secretary for the local IG Metall organization in Stuttgart, Germany, from 1987 to 1999, and was responsible for establishing the local office of IG Metall in Dresden in 1990 and 1991. He served as the bargaining policy and negotiations official for the regional council in Baden-Württemberg from 2000 to 2003, and subsequently served as IG Metall’s regional director for Baden-Württemberg until 2013. He was elected Vice Chairman of IG Metall in 2013 and has been first Chairman of IG Metall since October 20, 2015. Jörg Hofmann is President of IndustriAll Global Union and a member of the Supervisory Board of Robert Bosch GmbH. Hofmann is a holder of the Baden-Württemberg Enterprise Medal.

Frank Witter

Mr. Frank Witter has been appointed Member of the Management Board, Responsible For Finance and IT of the Company. He was previously Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Financial Services AG. In his new function, He holds a degree in business administration and has been with the Volkswagen Group since 1992. After training as a qualified savings bank officer, he studied economics at the University of Hannover. He joined Volkswagen AG in 1992, heading the capital markets business section at the Group Treasury until 1998. He subsequently became Treasurer at Volkswagen of America Inc., Volkswagen Canada Inc., VW Credit Inc. and their subsidiaries in Auburn Hills, Michigan, U.S.A. From 2001 to 2002 he served as Corporate Treasurer at SAirGroup in Zurich, Switzerland. In 2002 he became Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Volkswagen of America Inc., Volkswagen Canada Inc., VW Credit Inc. and their subsidiaries. From the beginning of 2005 he held the function of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Volkswagen of America Inc. and Volkswagen Canada Inc. He was the Group's Executive Manager and Chief Representative for the region of North America from July 2006 to September 2007. From October 2007 to mid-September 2008, Mr. Frank Witter served as President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of VW Credit Inc. and was Regional Manager for the American markets of Volkswagen Financial Services AG. Mr. Frank Witter was Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Financial Services AG from September 2008.

Gunnar Kilian

Mr. Gunnar Kilian is Member of the Management Board, Responsible For Human Resources of the Company. He started his professional career in 1995 as an intern with a newspaper, subsequently holding various editorial posts before joining Volkswagen AG as a public relations officer in 2000. From 2003, Kilian ran the office of a member of the German Bundestag, and returned to Volkswagen AG in 2006 as press spokesperson for the Group Works Council. He worked in the Salzburg office of the Chairman of the Volkswagen AG Supervisory Board from 2012 before returning to Wolfsburg in 2013 to take up the post of Secretary-General and General Manager of the Group Works Council. Kilian also held Supervisory Board mandates at Wolfsburg AG, Porsche Holding Stuttgart GmbH, Volkswagen Truck & Bus GmbH, MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, Allianz für die Region GmbH as well as Volkswagen Vertriebsbetreuungsgesellschaft and MOIA GmbH. Kilian has engaged in voluntary work for many years, for example as Chairman of the Volkswagen Belegschaftsstiftung (Volkswagen Employee Foundation) and also as a member of the Stiftungsrat (Board of Trustees) of the International Youth Meeting Center in Auschwitz.

Oliver Blume

Mr. Oliver Blume is Member of the Management Boardm, Responsible for Sport & Luxury Brand Group of the Company. He holds a PhD in mechanical engineering and has been with the Volkswagen Group since 1994. After graduating from high school, Blume began his studies at TU Braunschweig in 1988, and was awarded a degree in mechanical engineering in 1994. He completed his PhD thesis to receive the title of Doctor of Engineering in Vehicle Engineering from the Institute of Vehicle Technology at Tongji University, Shanghai, in 2001. Blume already started his professional career in 1994, joining the international trainee program at AUDI AG. After roles in body construction planning and logistics, he held various senior management functions until 2006, including Head of Body Construction for the A3, Head of the AUDI AG Pilot Plant, and Head of Planning and the Pilot Series Centre at SEAT S.A. in Barcelona. Blume moved to Wolfsburg as Head of Production Planning at the Volkswagen brand in 2009. He became the member of the Executive Board for Production and Logistics at Porsche AG in 2013. He was appointed Chairman of the Executive Board of Dr. Ing. h. c. F. Porsche AG in 2015.

Abraham Schot

Mr. Abraham Schot is Member of the Management Board, Responsible for Premium Brand Group of the Company. He began as a management trainee in 1986 at ABN-AMRO Bank. One year later he moved to Mercedes-Benz AG where he entered the Executive Management Program. After holding various positions at Mercedes Benz Nederland, including Assistant Sales Manager for Commercial Vehicles, Head of Corporate Strategy & Planning as well as Marketing Director for the Commercial Vehicle division, in 1998 Bram Schot became Managing Director of the Mercedes Car Group for DaimlerChrysler Nederland. In 2003, he assumed the position of President and CEO of DaimlerChrysler Nederland. From 2006 to 2011, he was responsible as President and CEO of DaimlerChrysler/Mercedes-Benz Italia. In 2011, he joined the Volkswagen Group, where he oversaw strategic projects in Group Sales. Bram Schot has been responsible for Marketing and Sales on the Board of Management of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles from 2012 onwards. Since September 1, 2017, Bram Schot has been Board of Management Member for Sales and Marketing at AUDI AG. On June 19, 2018, the Supervisory Board of AUDI AG has decided to transfer the duties of the Board of Management Chairman to Bram Schot on a temporary basis. Bram Schot has become Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG, which includes Ducati, Lamborghini and Italdesign Giugiaro as well as the Audi brand, on January 1, 2019. Stefan Sommer

Dr. Stefan Sommer is Member of the Management Board, Responsible Components and Procurement of the Company. He holds a Ph.D. in engineering, specializing in automation technology. After graduating in 1989 from the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, he completed his Ph.D. at the Chair of Control Systems and Control Engineering at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum in 1993. He began his professional career in 1994 as a development engineer at ITT Automotive Group Europe GmbH in Frankfurt am Main. In 1997, he moved to Continental Automotive Systems in Hanover as Director of Electronics & Sensor Development. After several positions of responsibility within the Continental Group, lastly as Senior Vice President EBS Customer Center, Sommer was appointed to the Board of Management, Chassis Division, at ZF Sachs AG in Schweinfurt. In 2010, he took over responsibility for Materials Management on the Board of Management at ZF Friedrichshafen AG. In January 2012, Dr. Sommer was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board of Management at ZF Friedrichshafen AG and served as Chairman of the Board of Management at ZF Friedrichshafen AG from May 2012 until the end of 2017.

Hiltrud Werner

Ms. Hiltrud Dorothea Werner is Member of the Management Board, Integrity and Legal Affairs of the Company. In 1985, she completed a textile technology training program in Mühlhausen, Thuringia. She then earned an economics degree in 1989 at the Martin Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg. Hiltrud Dorothea Werner began her career as a project manager for process optimization at Softlab GmbH, a consulting firm that specialized in information technology. She joined BMW AG in 1996 and then completed an international management trainee program. Afterward, she became a department head at BMW Bank GmbH. In 2000, she joined Group Audit and became the head of the BMW Audit Department for Great Britain and Ireland with global responsibility for the brands Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and MINI in 2003. After returning from Great Britain in 2008, she became head of Group Audit Financial Services. In 2011, Hiltrud Dorothea Werner was named the Chief Audit Executive at MAN SE. She then assumed the same position at ZF Friedrichshafen in 2014.

Hussain Al-Abdulla

Dr. Hussain Ali Al-Abdulla is Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG since April 22, 2010. He is also Deputy Chairman of Qatar Holding. Moreover, Dr. Al-Abdulla occupies the position of Chairman of the Board at Masraf Al Rayan as well as Quatar Exchange. He serves as Member of the Board at Quatar Investment Authority, Quatar Financial Centre, Quatar Airways as well as Gulf Investment Corporation.

Bernd Althusmann

Dr. Bernd Althusmann is Independent Member of the Supervisory Board at Volkswagen AG from December 14, 2017. He studied pedagogy at Helmut-Schmidt-University Hamburg from 1989 to 1993, and holds a degree in this subject. He subsequently graduated from AKAD University in Lahr with a degree in business administration. He received a doctorate from the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Potsdam in 2007. Dr. Bernd Althusmann served as an officer in the German Federal Armed Forces from 1986 to 1994. He was a Member of the State Parliament of Lower Saxony from 1994 to 2009 and was again elected to the State Parliament in 2017. He was State Secretary at Lower Saxony’s Ministry of Cultural Affairs from 2009 to 2010, and served as Lower Saxony’s Minister of Education and Cultural Affairs from 2010 to 2013. Between 2013 and 2016, he served overseas, heading up the Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s Office for Namibia and Angola. He was in charge of the Hanover office of TOPOS Personalberatung GmbH from 2016 to 2017. Dr. Bernd Althusmann has served as Lower Saxony’s Minister for Economic Affairs, Labor, Transport and Digitalization and as Deputy Minister-President since November 22, 2017.

Marianne Heiss

Ms. Marianne Heiss is Independent Member of the Supervisory Board at Volkswagen AG from February 14, 2018. From 1998 to 2002, Ms Heiß studied Accounting & Auditing, and Management, Organisation and Human Resources at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt. Marianne Heiß began as a bookkeeper at the tax consultancy STABILA in Vienna in 1989. She worked at Dr. Röhricht – Dr. Schillen, an auditing firm and tax consultancy company in Bielefeld, from 1991 to 1993. As Head of the Administrations Office at the Dorint AG in Hamelin from 1993 to 1996, Ms Heiß was responsible for the Finance and Accounting department and Human Resources. In 1996, Marianne Heiß moved to the advertising and communications sector, starting at the BBDO Group, a leading company in its field in Germany. Her initial post there was Head of Finance and Accounting for the outsourcing specialist SELLBYTEL (Nuremberg) until 1998. From 1999 to 2002, she was the Financial Director of the agencies of BBDO Austria. As management consultant at BBDO Services GmbH in Düsseldorf from 2002 to 2005, Marianne Heiß was responsible for the integration of new agencies. Ms Heiß was responsible for the BBDO agencies in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart as CFO from 2006 to 2011, until she took on responsibility for 18 European countries as the European Finance Director of BBDO Europe with headquarters in London. She held this position from 2011 to 2013. In June 2013, she was appointed as CFO of the BBDO Group Germany GmbH which has been operating in Germany since 1956. Since March 2019 Ms Heiß is the CEO of the BBDO Group Germany GmbH. Louise Kiesling

Dr. Louise Kiesling Ph.D. is Independent Member of the Supervisory Board at Volkswagen AG since April 30, 2015. She studied fashion design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Austria, from 1975 to 1979, and graduated with a Magister artium (MA). She obtained a Ph.D. in vehicle design from the Royal College of Art, London, United Kingdom, in 2012. Kiesling was a freelance designer from 1982 to 1985. She worked for Keys Design, Vienna, Austria, from 1986 to 1993. She served as Director for Design and Catalogue Print at Ameea Luxury Fashion Catalogue from 1999 to 2004. She has been a Director at Mainspring UK Limited, United Kingdom, since 2007. In 2012 she became a partner at Coop-Himmelblau ZT. Wolf D. Prix and Partners and was appointed Head of Interior and Product Design. Hessa Sultan Al-Jaber

Dr. Hessa Sultan Al-Jaber is Independent Member of the Supervisory Board at Volkswagen AG from June 22, 2016. Dr. Al Jaber holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Kuwait University, and a Master's Degree and Ph.D. in Computer Science from George Washington University, Washington, DC. Dr. Al Jaber was the former and the first-ever Minister of Information and Communication Technology in Qatar. Prior to becoming a minister, Dr. Al Jaber held the position of Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology (ictQATAR) since its inception in 2005. Also she was a member of United Nations ITU Broadband Commission for Sustainable development and a member at the Network of Global Agenda Councils of the World Economic Forum (WEF). Today, Dr. Al Jaber is the chairperson of Trio Investment, of Qatar Satellite Company (Es’hailSat), and of Malomatia. In addition she is a member of several boards, including Volkswagen AG Supervisory Board in Germany, Qatar University’s Board of Regents, Qatar Museums Authority’s Board, Silatech Board of Trustees, and the Qatar Financial Markets Authority Board. Furthermore, Dr. Al Jaber is currently appointed at the Shura Council (Consultative Assembly), the legislative body of the State of Qatar.

Stephan Weil

Mr. Stephan Weil is Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG since February 19, 2013. He commenced his law studies at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany, in 1978. He took his first State Exam in Law there in 1983, and sat his second State Exam in Law at the Higher Regional Court Celle, Germany, in 1983. Weil practised as a lawyer in Hanover, Germany, from 1987 to 1989. From 1989 to 1991 he was a judge and prosecutor, in part on secondment to the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice. He served as a judge at the Amtsgericht Hannover (Hanover Local Court), Germany, from 1991 to 1994. He held the position of Ministerialrat at the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice from 1994 to 1997. He was City Treasurer from 1997 to 2006 and Lord Mayor of the Lower Saxony capital of Hanover, Germany, from 2006 to 2013. Stephan Weil has served as Prime Minister of Lower Saxony since February 2013.

Hans-Peter Fischer

Dr. Hans-Peter Fischer is Member of the Supervisory Board, Employee Representative of Volkswagen AG. From 1978 to 1984, he studied law and business management at the University of Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where he made a doctorate in law in 1987. He completed his judicial clerkship at Brunswick Higher Regional Court, Germany, from 1987 to 1989. He began his professional career in the participating interests and tax department of Hannover Rückversicherung in 1990. He was an administrator in the legal department at Volkswagen AG from 1991 to 2004. Fischer has been an authorized signatory of Volkswagen AG since 2002. He was also team leader for corporate and capital market law at Volkswagen from 2005 to 2012. Fischer was elected Chairman of the Volkswagen Management Association (VMA) in 2013. Dr. Hans-Peter Fischer is a member of the board of trustees of Familienbildungsstätte der Ev. in Wolfsburg, Germany, and a member of the issuers group of Deutsches Aktieninstitut.

Johan Jaervklo

Mr. Johan Jaervklo is Member of the Supervisory Board, Employee Representative at Volkswagen AG since November 22, 2015. He joined Scania as a metal worker in 1995. He was elected shop steward in 1997, and served as Youth Secretary at the IF Metall trade union from 1999 to 2000. He became the Representative of the Swedish Metal Workers Union in Scania engine production in 2001, and deputy Supervisory Board member of Scania CV AB in 2006. Since 2008 he has served as Chairman of the Group Trade Union at Scania CV AB, Chairman of IF Metall Scania in Södertälje, and a member of the Supervisory Board of Scania CV AB. In 2018 Johan Järvklo was elected as General Secretary for Volkswagen European and Global Group Works Council.

Ulrike Jakob

Ms. Ulrike Jakob is Member of the Supervisory Board, Employee Representative at Volkswagen AG from May 10, 2017. She trained as an office assistant from 1976 to 1978. She obtained the European Business Competence Licence in 2015. Jakob was a commercial clerk in After Sales at Volkswagen from 1978 to 1992. At the same time she was also a member of the youth and apprenticeship representation from 1978, serving in each case for two years as Deputy Chairperson and a as Chairperson. Jakob has been a member of the Works Council at the Volkswagen AG Kassel plant since 1993. From 2009 to 2012 she was managing director of the Works Council, since the end of 2012 she has been its Deputy Chairman. She is also a member of the Group Works Council, of the Economic Committee and of the so called Kooperation. Peter Mosch

Mr. Peter Mosch is Member of the Supervisory Board and Employee Representative at Volkswagen AG since January 18, 2006. He trained as an industrial mechanic from 1987 to 1991, and qualified as a foreman with distinction from the Bavarian State Government in 1995. Mosch worked as a machinist at AUDI AG from 1991, and as a foreman at AUDI AG from 1995 to 1998. He has been a member of the Works Council at AUDI AG since 1998, member of the Supervisory Board of AUDI AG since 2001 and Chairman of the General Works Council of AUDI AG since 2006. Ms. Bertina Murkovic is Member of the Supervisory Board, Employee Representative at Volkswagen AG from May 10, 2017. From 1972 to 1975 she trained as an office administrator, subsequently passing the examination entitling her to enter higher education and obtaining a Magisters degree in sociology and literature in 2000. She worked at Thyssen AG in Duisburg from 1975 to 1979. She held various positions in the Gewerkschaft Handel, Banken und Versicherungen trade union from 1979 to 1993. She was a specialist assistant to the Works Council of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in Hanover, Germany, from 2000 to 2002. She served as a member of the Works Council of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles from 2002 to 2009, and has been its Deputy Chairman from 2009 to 2018. Since January 2018, she has been Chairman of the Works Council of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. Bertina Maria Murkovic holds several lay offices in the IG Metall local organization in Hanover, Germany.

Bernd Osterloh

Mr. Bernd Osterloh is a Member of the Supervisory Board and Employee Representative at Volkswagen AG. He trained as an industrial clerk from 1973 to 1975. He has worked for Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg since 1977. He has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Allianz für die Region GmbH since 2007 and a member of the Supervisory Board of Wolfsburg AG since 2009. He has held mandates on the Supervisory Boards of ŠKODA Auto a.s. and SEAT, S.A. since 2015. Since 2018 Osterloh serves as a member of the Supervisory Boards of Porsche Holding Stuttgart GmbH and Traton AG. Osterloh is Chairman of the ready4work e.V. initiative and a member of the board of Bildungszentrum Heimvolkshochschule Hustedt e.V.

Hans Piech

Dr. Hans Michel Piech is Member of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG since August 7, 2009. He was awarded his Matura (upper secondary diploma) in 1963 and subsequently graduated from the University of Vienna with a degree in law in 1968. He obtained a doctorate in law in 1970. He began his professional career with Gulf Oil in Pittsburgh, USA, in 1970. He became managing director of Porsche KG in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1971. Piëch has practiced as an independent attorney since 1977. Piëch has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Porsche Holding GmbH in Salzburg, Austria, since 1975 and a member of the Supervisory Board of Porsche AG, Stuttgart, Germany, since 1989. He has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Porsche SE since 2007 and since 2009 he is a member of the Supervisory Board of Audi AG and part of the Executive Committee of Audi AG since 2016.

Ferdinand Porsche

Dr. Ferdinand Oliver Porsche is Member of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG. He studied law at the University of Salzburg, graduating with a Masters degree in law in 1990. He received his doctorate in law in 1992. Porsche studied business administration at the University of Toronto, Canada, from 1994 to 1995. Porsche served as managing director of Porsche Design Management GmbH & Co. KG, Salzburg, Austria, from 1994 to 2004. He has been managing director of Real Estate Holding GmbH, Salzburg, Austria, since 2002. He has served on the executive board of Familie Porsche AG Beteiligungsgesellschaft in Salzburg, Austria, since 2003, and as managing director of Neckar GmbH, Salzburg, Austria, since 2015. Porsche is a member of the Supervisory Board of Dr. Ing. h. c. F. Porsche AG, AUDI AG, Porsche Holding Gesellschaft m.b.H., Porsche Automobil Holding SE and Volkswagen Truck & Bus GmbH. Futhermore, Dr. Ferdinand Porsche is a deputy chairman of the Supervisory Board of the nonprofit company Lebenshilfe Salzburg.

Wolfgang Porsche

Dr. Wolfgang Porsche is Member of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG since April 24, 2008. After obtaining his Abitur (higher school-leaving certificate) and passing his journeyman’s examination as a metalworker, he studied at Vienna University of Economics and Business from 1965 to 1971, graduating with a degree in Business Administration. He received his doctorate in International Business in 1973. Porsche then went into business as an independent entrepreneur, becoming the general importer of Yamaha motorbikes in Austria from 1973 to 2000. He worked at Daimler-Benz AG, Stuttgart-Untertürkheim, Germany, as manager in various areas of domestic and foreign sales from 1976 to 1981. He has served as managing director of Porsche limited liability company in Grünwald, Germany. He was Managing Partner of Porsche Holding Ges.m.b.H., Salzburg, Austria, from 1988 to 2011. Porsche has served as a member of the Supervisory Board of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG since 1978. Porsche has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Porsche Automobil Holding SE and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG since 2007. He has also served as a member of the Supervisory Board of AUDI AG since 2012.

Conny Schoenhardt

Ms. Conny Schoenhardt serves as Member of the Supervisory Board of the Company. She completed a commercial apprenticeship for office communication at VW Commercial Vehicles from 1994 to 1997. From 2002 to 2006, she studied economics at the Universität für Wirtschaft und Politik in Hamburg (now called Universität Hamburg, department of social economics) and completed a Master of Science in International and European Politics at the University of Edinburgh in 2008. Before her studies, Ms Schönhardt worked as an assembly worker at VW Commercial Vehicles from 1997 to 2002. Simultaneously, from 1996 to 2002, she was a representative for young employees and apprentices, for two years of which she was Deputy Chair. From 2008 to 2014 she was a trade union secretary for IG Metall Area Management for Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt. From 2014 to 2018, she worked for the IG Metall Board of Management as a secretary in the unit responsible for pay scale policy. Since January 2019, she has been a trade union secretary for the IG Metall Board of Management in the unit for Strategic and Political Planning, and also company representative for Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft and AUDI AG.

Athanasios Stimoniaris

Mr. Athanasios Stimoniaris is Member of the Supervisory Board, Employee Representative at Volkswagen AG from May 10, 2017. He held various positions in logistics at MAN Truck & Bus AG in Munich, Germany, from 1998 to 2002. He has been a member of the Works Council of MAN Truck & Bus AG since 2002, serving as Deputy Chairman of the Works Council from 2007 to 2015, and as Deputy Chairman of the General Works Council of MAN Truck & Bus AG from 2014/2015, as well as Deputy Chairman of the Group Works Council of MAN SE. Stimoniaris has been Chairman of the Works Council and General Works Council of MAN Truck & Bus AG since 2015. He is also Chairman of the Group Works Council of MAN SE and a member of the Group Works Council of Volkswagen AG. Furthermore, he serves as a member of the European and Global Works Councils of Volkswagen AG and since July 22, 2018 as Chairman of the Group Works Council of TRATON AG. Athanasios Stimoniarias is Deputy Leader of the shop stewards' committee of IG Metall at MAN Truck & Bus AG in Munich and a member of the IG Metall local organization in Munich.

Werner Weresch

Mr. Werner Weresch is Member of the Supervisory Board of the Company. He started at Porsche AG in 1984. He became a member of the Porsche AG Works Council in 1990 and has been a member of the Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG Supervisory Board since 1998. Mr Weresch became deputy chairman of the Works Council in Zuffenhausen in 2011 and has been a member of the Porsche Holding Stuttgart GmbH Supervisory Board since 2012. In February 2019, he became chairman of the Porsche Works Council in Zuffenhausen, chairman of the General Works Council at Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, chairman of the Group Works Council of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG and member of the Group Works Council of Volkswagen AG. Werner Weresch is an honorary member of the local executive committee of IG Metall Stuttgart and member of the Main Collective Bargaining Committee of IG Metall Baden-Württemberg.
