Name Description

Harris Simmons

Mr. Harris Henry Simmons is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Zions Bancorporation. He is a director of Dominion Midstream Partners where he serves on the audit committee, and was previously a director of Questar Corporation. Mr. Simmons’ over 40 years of experience in banking and leadership of the Company is invaluable to the Board. During his tenure as our President and then Chairman and CEO, we have grown from $3 billion in assets to our present $60 billion in assets. He is past chairman of the American Bankers Association and a member of the Financial Services Roundtable.

Scott McLean

Mr. Scott J. McLean is President, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President of the Company. He was named president in March of 2014, prior to which he served as CEO of Amegy Bank of Texas. Before joining Amegy in 2002, he was with Texas Commerce Bank/JPMorgan Chase for 23 years. From 1998 to 2001, he served as president of JPMorgan Chase in Houston. McLean held several executive positions at Texas Commerce Bank from 1979 to 1997, including chairman of the bank in Greenway Plaza (1982-1985), president in Dallas (1985-1993) and chairman in El Paso (1993-1997). He received a bachelor’s of business administration from Southern Methodist University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Paul Burdiss

Mr. Paul Burdiss has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of the Company. He was named as CFO of the company in March 2015. Burdiss has served for the past several years as Corporate Treasurer at SunTrust Banks, Inc., one of the nation's leading bank holding companies, with $187 billion in assets, where he has had responsibility for overseeing the firm's investment portfolio, capital management, liquidity and interest rate risk management. He has also been actively involved in supporting the firm's stress testing and Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review process. Previously, Mr. Burdiss served as Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Comerica Inc., a large regional bank headquartered in Dallas, Texas, where he previously served as Director of Investor Relations. Earlier in his career, Mr. Burdiss worked in Chicago, Illinois as a relationship manager at The Bank of Nova Scotia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Administration from Michigan State University, and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Michigan.

Dianne James

Ms. Dianne R. James is Chief Human Resource Officer, Executive Vice President of Zions Bancorporation. Prior to joining Zions in 2006, she spent ten years in various human resources leadership roles with Harrah’s Entertainment. Dianne began her career in Pennsylvania, where she attended University of Pittsburgh, and worked a variety of retail and human resources roles at Mellon Bank over a 17 year period. She is a member of both the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Human Resource Planning Society (HRPS), and holds a Senior Professional Human Resources designation. Dianne is a member of Arizona Bankers Association Human Resources Committee, Phoenix Women’s Executive Group and a board member and treasurer of the Phoenix Public Library Foundation.

Jennifer Smith

Ms. Jennifer Smith is Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer of the Company. She previously served as director of Enterprise Operations and has been responsible for the Customer Care Center, Deposit and Treasury Operations, Enterprise Loan Operations, and Consumer Lending and Card Operations departments. Prior to joining Zions Bancorporation, Smith held a variety of senior management roles in technology and operations risk management and internal audit at Wells Fargo. Smith holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics from the University of Utah. She is member of the YWCA of Utah’s Board of Directors, and formerly served on the United Way’s Board of Directors.

Edward Schreiber

Mr. Edward P. Schreiber is Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer of Zions Bancorporation. He was a managing director of Alvarez & Marsal’s Financial Industry Advisory Services, where he headed the company’s enterprise risk management efforts. Previously, he served for eleven years as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at TD Bank, and its predecessor companies. While there, his responsibilities included oversight of compliance, and credit, operational and market risk. Schreiber began his banking career with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. During his 19 years there, he served in managerial, analytical and technical positions. Schreiber has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico and received a certificate from the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado. He currently sits on the Risk Management Association’s Board of Directors and Enterprise Risk Council. He has been a speaker at industry conferences, trade associations and outreach sessions and taught risk management at the former New England Banking School.

Thomas Laursen

Mr. Thomas E. Laursen is Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary of Zions Bancorporation. He joined the company as general counsel in 2004. Laursen began his legal career in 1984 with Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City, where he was a member of the firm’s banking and corporate practice groups for ten years. Thereafter he practiced with O'Conner Cavanagh in Tucson and Phoenix for five years and with Holme Roberts & Owen in Denver and London, England for five years. Laursen has substantial experience in banking, mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate matters. He graduated from Columbia Law School with a J.D. and has a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Arizona.

Bruce Alexander

Mr. Bruce K. Alexander is Executive Vice President of Zions Bancorporation., and Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Vectra Bank Colorado, N.A., a subsidiary of the company. Prior to joining Zions, he served as the executive director of the Denver Urban Renewal Authority from 1999 to 2000. During this time he was also an executive vice president of Bank One from 1997 to 2000. He joined Vectra Bank Colorado in March 2000. Alexander has also served on the board of regents of National Bank. He currently serves as a member of the board of directors for Denver Health, the largest provider of indigent care in Denver, as well as a member of the board for Denver’s Land Use and Transportation Advisory Council. Alexander is a graduate of the University of Virginia.

Aldon Anderson

Mr. Aldon Scott Anderson is Executive Vice President of Zions Bancorporation., and President and Chief Executive Officer of Zions First National Bank, a subsidiary of the company. Prior to January 1998 he was executive vice president of Zions First National Bank. Anderson has been an officer since 1990. He joined Zions Bank as executive vice president of Retail Banking. Prior to that, he spent 17 years with Bank of America in San Francisco, holding a number of positions, and also spent seven years working in Bank of America’s Asia Division, headquartered in Tokyo. Anderson received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and economics from Columbia University and has a master’s degree in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University.

David Blackford

Mr. David E. Blackford is Executive Vice President of the Zions Bancorporation., and Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of California Bank & Trust, subsidiary of the company. He joined the company in 1998 and has been a member of California Bank & Trust's board of directors since that time. Prior to that, he was managing director of Real Estate Finance, executive vice president of the Orange County Division and managing director of the bank. He has many years of high-level banking experience, including serving as executive vice president and manager at Bank One, Southwestern Region. Blackford is a graduate of Williams College.

LeeAnne Linderman

Ms. LeeAnne B. Linderman is Executive Vice President, Enterprise Retail Banking of the Company. She served as executive vice president of Zions Bank's Retail, Mortgage and Omnichannel Banking Division. Linderman started with Zions Bank in 1992, when she was hired as assistant vice president. She oversaw development and execution of in-store banking programs for Zions Bancorporation, with direct management responsibility for 45 locations in Utah and Idaho. Before joining Zions Bank, Linderman was a preferred banking officer in California. She entered the finance industry after working in retail management since 1995. She has held management positions at Rich's in Atlanta, Georgia; Broadway Stores in Phoenix, Arizona; and JC Penney Co. in multiple cities. Linderman holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Auburn University and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. As a recipient of the International Women's Forum Leadership Foundation 2007–2008 Fellows program scholarship, she attended the Harvard Business School and the University of Cambridge Judge Business School for advanced studies in global leadership.

Keith Maio

Mr. Keith D. Maio is Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer of Zions Bancorporation., and President and Chief Executive Officer of National Bank of Arizona, subsidiary of the company. Prior to his appointment to chief banking officer, Keith served as president and chief executive officer of the National Bank of Arizona. He has served as president since 2001 and was appointed CEO in 2005. He joined the company in 1992 and has held positions in commercial lending and real estate. Maio is chairman-elect of the Arizona Bankers Association, and a member of the boards of the Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation and of the Pacific Coast School of Banking. He has a B.A. degree from the University of New Mexico and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast School of Banking.

Michael Morris

Mr. Michael Morris is Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer of Zions Bancorporation. He joined Zions Bancorporation in 2007, where he began in the role of Managing Director, Real Estate Capital Markets. In 2009, he transitioned to EVP of Real Estate Banking, Zions First National Bank. In August, 2013, he assumed the role of CCO, Bancorporation. Prior to joining Zions Bancorporation he was Managing Director for JP Morgan Real Estate, Executive Vice President for Bank One, and Senior Vice President for First Interstate Bank of California. Michael is the senior credit officer for the enterprise and oversees the credit risk function, which includes key areas such as credit quality for all loan portfolio segments, the credit approval process and policy, portfolio stress testing, risk grading, allowance for credit loss, and credit analytics. Michael serves on the following key management committees; executive management, capital management, concentration management, new products, securities oversight, and enterprise risk management. Michael received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah, and attended the Grazadio Graduate School of Business at Pepperdine University. He serves on the boards of the Kimball Art Center, Thunderbird Foundation and the Fisher Center for Real Estate, California Berkeley.

Joseph Reilly

Mr. Joseph L. Reilly is Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Strategist of the Company. He has held several technology leadership positions with the company, most recently serving as Chief Information Officer. As Chief Technology Strategist, he will focus on technology strategy and planning, architecture, and the delivery of certain strategic technology initiatives, including Zions’ multi-year core systems transformation project, which will replace the company’s loan servicing and deposit systems. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Rebecca Robinson

Ms. Rebecca K. Robinson is Executive Vice President and Director of Wealth Management of the Company. She holds designations as a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner. Prior to joining Zions Trust in 2013, she was Senior Director of Planning with Wells Fargo, The Private Bank, and prior to that was a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Washington, DC. Robinson has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science, Business (Accounting emphasis) from the University of Utah and a Masters of Professional Accountancy from the University of Utah.

Stanley Savage

Mr. Stanley D. Savage is Executive Vice President. President and Chief Executive Officer of ZB, N.A. – The Commerce Bank of Washington a subsidiary of the company. Prior to joining Zions in April 2001, Savage was with Bank of America where he served as executive vice president and vice chairman of Seafirst Bank, with responsibilities for domestic and international Private Banking and Commercial Markets Groups. Previous posts included serving as manager of Seafirst Bank's Capital Management and Commercial Markets Groups and president and chief operating officer of Security Pacific Bancorporation Northwest and Security Pacific Bank Washington (formerly Ranier Bank).

Terry Shirey

Mr. Terry A. Shirey is Executive Vice President, President and CEO of ZB, a subsidiary of the Company. He served as Chief Financial Officer for six years before being named President and COO in September 2014. Shirey oversees all five banking lines of business – retail, real estate, small business, commercial, and private banking – as well as all bank operations in Nevada. A licensed certified public accountant (CPA), Shirey has more than 19 years of experience in the financial industry, with the past 12 spent managing finance and operations for major banks and bank holding companies. Prior to joining the banking industry, he was an audit manager for the CPA firm of McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, supervising audits of financial institutions, including multi-bank holding companies. Shirey holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Wyoming. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce, as Vice-Chair of the College of Southern Nevada Foundation and is the Immediate Past-Chairman of the Nevada Bankers Association.

Steve Stephens

Mr. Steve Dan Stephens is Executive Vice President of Zions Bancorporation., and President and CEO of ZB, N.A. – Amegy Bank a subsidiary of the company. He began his career with Texas Commerce Bank, where he joined the lending officer development program before eventually becoming senior executive vice president in commercial lending for Texas Commerce - Reagan. Since helping to found Amegy Bank in 1990, Stephens has led Amegy Bank’s commercial banking, retail and private banking activities. He received his bachelors of business administration from the University of Houston.

Mark Young

Mr. Mark R. Young is Executive Vice President of the Company and President and Chief Executive Officer of ZB, N.A. – National Bank of Arizona a subsidiary of the Company. He served as director of Real Estate Banking, responsible for its development, Profit & Loss and implementation. He also serves as a member of the bank’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Senior Loan Committee, Asset Liability Management Committee and Credit Risk Management Committee, participating in strategic decision making for the bank. com Prior to joining NB|AZ, Mark was an Executive Vice President and Executive Director of Real Estate Banking at California Bank & Trust and Bank One. He has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Southern California, and an M.B.A. from Arizona State University.

Alexander Hume

Mr. Alexander J. Hume is Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller of Zions Bancorporation. He joined Zions in 2006 as assistant controller and has been controller since March 2010. Hume was formerly manager in the Global Credit & Treasury Services Department at Honeywell where he oversaw cash management, forecasting, reporting and analysis efforts. He also served as manager and supervisory auditor at Ernst & Young, working with clients in the financial services industry. Hume holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. in finance from Thunderbird, School of Global Management, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

James Abbott

Mr. James R. Abbott is Senior Vice President - Investor Relations of Zions Bancorporation. He is senior vice president of Investor Relations and External Communications. Before joining Zions in 2009, he was a senior vice president and an equity analyst with FBR Capital Markets covering the banking industry. Prior to that, Abbott was a senior bank equity research and merger and acquisitions analyst at SNL Financial and also worked in retail trading at Fidelity Investments. While at Zions, Abbott has consistently been one of the top-ranked Investor Relations Officers for U.S. regional banks as published in Institutional Investor. In his role as Equity Analyst at FBR, he was consistently ranked as a top earnings estimator by Starmine for the Thrift/Mortgage Finance industry, with a five-star rating. In addition, Abbott has worked extensively with the media, including appearances on CNBC and Bloomberg TV and has been quoted in many business publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Barron's and the American Banker. He has actively volunteered his time in youth programs including the Boy Scouts of America. Abbott earned a bachelor's degree in business (finance emphasis) from the University of Utah.

Barbara Yastine

Ms. Barbara A. Yastine is Director of the Company. Ms. Yastine served as a director and Co-CEO of privately-held Lebenthal Holdings, LLC from September 2015 to June 2016. Ms. Yastine previously served as Chair, President and CEO of Ally Bank from March 2012 to June 2015. From May 2010 to March 2012, she served as either Chair or Executive Chair of Ally Bank and Chief Administrative Officer of Ally Financial, overseeing the risk, compliance, legal and technology areas. Prior to joining Ally Financial, she served in various capacities in the financial industry, including with Credit Suisse First Boston and Citigroup. Ms. Yastine is a member of the Boards of Directors of Primerica, Inc., where she chairs the compensation committee, and of First Data Corp., where she chairs the audit committee. Ms. Yastine brings to our Board her expertise in general management, consumer and commercial banking, investment banking and capital markets, wealth management, risk and asset management, finance and strategic planning from her broad and lengthy experience serving in financial services.

Jerry Atkin

Mr. Jerry C. Atkin is an Independent Director Zions Bancorporation. Mr. Atkin is chairman and retired CEO of SkyWest, Inc., based in St. George, Utah. Mr. Atkin brings his skills and experience as the head of a publicly traded company for 40 years as well as an accounting background to our Board. At SkyWest, he led the company’s growth from annual revenue of less than $1 million to more than $3 billion. Prior to becoming CEO of SkyWest, Mr. Atkin was its chief financial officer.

Gary Crittenden

Mr. Gary L. Crittenden is an Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Crittenden is a private investor and has been a non-employee executive director of HGGC, LLC, a California-based middle market private equity firm, since January 2017. During the period of 2009 to January 2017 he served in various capacities at HGGC, including managing director, chairman, and CEO. He is a member of the board of Primerica, where he serves on the audit committee. He previously served as chairman of Citi Holdings, and as chief financial officer at Citigroup, American Express Company, Monsanto, Sears Roebuck, Melville Corporation and Filene’s Basement following a consulting career at Bain & Company.

Suren Gupta

Mr. Suren K. Gupta is an Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Gupta is executive vice president of Technology and Strategic Ventures at Allstate Insurance Company, where he has served since 2011. From 2003 to 2011, he served as executive vice president and group chief information officer, Home & Consumer Finance Group, at Wells Fargo & Company. Mr. Gupta’s deep experience in technology, operations, and business strategy adds depth to our Board’s knowledge about data, technology, and security, areas of evolving and increasing risk to the financial services industry. He has held senior technology, operations, sales, marketing and strategic development roles at GMAC Residential, INTELSAT, a telecommunications company, and at Thomson Corp., an information company.

David Heaney

Mr. David J. Heaney is an Independent Director of Zions Bancorporation. Mr. Heaney is chairman of Heaney Rosenthal Inc., a Houston, Texas-based financial organization specializing in investment in private companies in various industry sectors. Mr. Heaney contributes financial and legal expertise, and broad knowledge of the Texas market to our Board. He was a founding director of Amegy Bancorporation, Inc., which we acquired in December 2005. He has also served as vice president of finance and chief financial officer of Sterling Chemicals, Inc. Mr. Heaney was a partner of the law firm Bracewell & Patterson (now Bracewell).

Vivian Lee

Dr. Vivian S. Lee is an Independent Director of the Company. Dr. Lee has served as senior vice president of Health Sciences at the University of Utah, dean of the University’s School of Medicine, and CEO of University of Utah Health Care since 2011. She was previously the vice dean for science, senior vice president, and chief scientific officer of New York University Medical Center. Dr. Lee brings a wealth of experience as a CEO focused on streamlining processes and improving efficiency in the highly regulated and rapidly evolving health care industry. From 2014 until 2015, Ms. Lee also served on the Board of Directors of Zions First National Bank. She is responsible for an annual budget of more than $3.3 billion, and leads a healthcare system comprising four hospitals, numerous clinical and research specialty centers, neighborhood health centers, an insurance plan, and more than 1,200 board-certified physicians.

Edward Murphy

Mr. Edward F. Murphy is an Independent Director of Zions Bancorporation. Mr. Murphy is a former executive vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where he served as the principal financial officer and was responsible for enterprise wide operational risk management. He is also a former executive vice president of JP Morgan Chase Incorporated. Mr. Murphy is a Certified Public Accountant who contributes significant expertise in accounting and financial reporting in the banking industry, as well as extensive experience in operational risk management and internal control processes. During his 21-year career at JP Morgan Chase, he held several senior leadership positions, including principal accounting officer, global director of internal audit, chief operating officer of Asia Pacific operations, and chief financial officer of the consumer and middle markets businesses.

Roger Porter

Dr. Roger B. Porter, Ph.D., is an Independent Director of Zions Bancorporation. Dr. Porter serves as IBM Professor of Business and Government at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and as a director of Extra Space Storage, Inc., Packaging Corporation of America, and Tenneco Inc. Dr. Porter brings to the Board his broad knowledge of business-government relations and economics. He has served for more than a decade in senior economic policy positions in the White House, including as assistant to the president for economic and domestic policy from 1989 to 1993. He was also director of the White House Office of Policy Development in the Reagan Administration and executive secretary of the president’s economic policy board during the Ford Administration. He is the author of several books on economic policy. .

Stephen Quinn

Mr. Stephen D. Quinn is an Independent Director of Zions Bancorporation. Mr. Quinn is a former managing director and general partner of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, New York. He is a director of Group 1 Automotive, Inc. and was a director of American Express Bank Ltd. prior to its sale in 2009. Mr. Quinn contributes financial and investment banking expertise to the Board. At Goldman Sachs, he specialized in corporate finance, spending two decades structuring mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other transactions for some of America’s best-known corporations. At Group 1 Automotive, he currently chairs the finance and risk management committee and is a member of the audit and compensation committees. He has also served as Group 1 Automotive’s lead director. At American Express Bank Ltd., Mr. Quinn chaired the risk committee and served as a member of its audit committee.
