Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc., incorporated on September 10, 2004, is a holding company. The Company designs, manufactures and sells sealing, fuel and brake delivery, and fluid transfer for use in passenger vehicles and light trucks manufactured by global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The Company operates through four segments: North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and South America. The Company's products are used in passenger vehicles and light trucks. As of December 31, 2018, the Company's operations were conducted through 159 leased and joint venture facilities in 21 countries (North America: Canada, Mexico and the United States; Asia Pacific: China, India, Japan, South Korea and Thailand; Europe: Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, and South America: Brazil), of which 104 are manufacturing facilities and 55 have design, engineering, administrative or logistics designations.
The Company's sealing systems protect vehicle interiors from weather, dust and noise intrusion. It also provides functional class-A exterior surface treatment. The Company's sealing system products include Fortrex, stainless steel trim, dynamic seals, flush glass systems, static seals, variable extrusion, encapsulated glass and specialty sealing products.
Fuel and Brake Delivery Systems
The Company's fuel and brake delivery systems sense, deliver and control fluids to fuel and brake systems. The Company's fuel and brake delivery systems products include Chassis and tank fuel lines and bundles (fuel lines, vapor lines and bundles); direct injection and port fuel rails (fuel rails and fuel charging assemblies); Metallic brake lines and bundles; Gen III Posi-Lock Quick Connect, and Quick connects.
Fluid Transfer Systems
The Company's fluid transfer system senses, delivers and controls fluid and vapors for optimal powertrain and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) operation. The Company's fluid transfer system products include heater/coolant hoses, turbo charger hoses, quick connects, secondary air hoses, diesel particulate filter (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) emission lines, brake and clutch hoses, degas tanks, ArmorHose, air intake, ArmorHose TPV, and charge and transmission oil cooling hoses.
