SEOUL, April 17 Oil prices rose on Wednesday,
supported by concerns over tightening global supply due to U.S.
sanctions and fighting in Libya, as well as an unexpected fall
in U.S. crude inventories.
SEOUL, April 15 South Korea's oil imports from
Iran fell 12 percent in March from a year earlier, customs data
showed on Monday, but the monthly intake was still the highest
since the country resumed buying Iranian oil in January.
SEOUL/SINGAPORE, March 29 Two South Korean oil
importers have recently turned back U.S. crude oil cargoes over
quality issues, although that is not likely to sever the
fast-growing trade link between the close political allies.

SEOUL South Korea on Wednesday ramped up its firepower as it battles pollution, passing a set of bills that designate the problem a 'social disaster' and which could unlock emergency funds to tackle the issue.
SEOUL, March 13 South Korea's parliament on
Wednesday passed a set of bills to fight air pollution that has
blanketed parts of the country in recent years, with one bill
designating the problem a 'social disaster'.
SEOUL South Korea resumed imports of Iranian oil in January after a four-month hiatus, customs data showed on Friday, but shipments were down 76 percent from the same month last year.
