Authorities fire stun grenades to disperse the crowds and arrest dozens of protesters. Prior to the clashes, a peaceful display of anger. An estimated 2,000 protesters march through the city, which raised the fares by nearly 20 U.S. cents. (SOUNDBITE) (Portuguese) MEMBER OF THE SAO PAULO FREE FARE MOVEMENT, ERICA DE OLIVEIRA, SAYING: "We hope the fight over the fare hikes spreads.
