Hillary Clinton spent Friday campaigning in New Hampshire, but attention was focused not on the candidate, but on her emails. The State Department released a trove of her email exchanges Friday. Most focused on the tumultuous situation in Benghazi, before and after September 11, 2012, when U.S. ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed during an attack on the U.S. mission and a building nearby. After her campaign event, the former secretary of state said she hopes more are released soon. (SOUNDBITE) (English) HILLARY CLINTON, FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE, SAYING: "These that are being released today have been in the committee jurisdiction, they were given to the committee some months ago and now finally those are getting released, so it's beginning, I just would like to see it expedited so we can get more of them out more quickly." The posting included almost 300 email exchanges with a number of staff members, beginning in March 2011 and ending in December 2012. Clinton maintains she used her personal email account for convenience because she did not want to carry two email devices...prompting concerns among critics about the presidential candidate's transparency.
