ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on SaturdaY slammed her chief Republican rival Donald Trump for his recent comments on NATO as well as his proposal to ban Muslims from entering the United States. "His language has reverberated around the world and when he says, keep Muslims out of America, a country like ours founded on religious liberty, when he says he can just handle it, when he insults NATO and our Asian allies by saying basically we are going to walk away, he's putting at risk the coalition of nations we need to defeat ISIS. He's basically making our situation worse and more dangerous around the world," Clinton said. Clinton was speaking in Eau Claire, Wisconsin ahead of the state's primary on April 5. Tuesday could be a turning point in the Republican nomination race, when Wisconsin hosts its nominating contest. Trump, 69, trails his leading rival, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, 45, of Texas in the Upper Midwestern state. A Cruz win would make it harder for Trump to reach the magic number of 1,237 delegates needed to secure the nomination before the Republican national convention in July. The winner will get to claim all of Wisconsin's 42 delegates.
