ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) In the wake of the collapse of the Republicans' push to repeal and replace Obamacare, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is calling for a vote to simply repeal the 2010 healthcare law with a replacement coming after a two year transition period. In remarks on the Senate floor Tuesday, McConnell said will now try a 'different way' to repeal Obamacare. Republican senators Mike Lee and Jerry Moran on Monday joined colleagues Susan Collins and Rand Paul in opposing the legislation to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, passed under Democratic former president Barack Obama.
