ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said on Wednesday (September 13) that Britons would soon regret their "sad" and "tragic" decision to leave the European Union. Giving his annual state of the EU address in Strasbourg, Juncker made no policy statements regarding how Britain's exit should be handled. But he called for an EU summit to be held in the German-speaking Transylvanian city of Sibiu on March 30, 2019, the first day Britain is officially no longer part of the Union. Brexit took up very little of his address to Parliament, as he insisted the divorce should not prevent the rest of the Union forging ahead with integration in an ambitious way.
