Voyager 2 spacecraft enters interstellar space

NASA scientist Ed Stone said on Monday Voyager 2 ''keeps surprising us'' and that there's ''a lot to learn'' after the spacecraft began to traverse interstellar space some 11 billion miles from earth. His colleague, Suzanne Dodd, said she hopes the second of the two Voyager probes will last to 2027, which would mark a 50-year mission. Cut (no reporter narration).
