Suspected U.S. drone fires missile in NW Pakistan
PESHAWAR, Pakistan, Dec 5 (Reuters) - A suspected U.S. drone fired a missile into North Waziristan, a major sanctuary near the Afghan border for al Qaeda and Taliban militants, intelligence officials and a resident said on Friday.
"It hit a house and there are some casualties but we don't know how many," an intelligence official in the region told Reuters by telephone.
