SAN FRANCISCO, May 3 (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O: Quote, Profile, Research) has withdrawn its offer for Yahoo Inc (YHOO.O: Quote, Profile, Research) and does not plan to go hostile, a person familiar with Microsoft's thinking said on Saturday.
