Indian conservationists have warned that it is already too late to save India's tigers as the population shrinks to 1411.
Poaching and inefficient, corrupt game parks have threatened conservation efforts, as a tiger's skin can fetch up to 50,000 US dollars on the international market.
But others say human encroachment is the biggest threat.
