Bowie music. Bowie style. On what would have been his 70th Birthday, and almost a year since he died, stars including former band members Mike Garson and Earl Slick came together to remember their friend at a sell-out charity concert. SOUNDBITE: Earl Slick, Bowie Guitarist, saying (English): "It's a little funny, not haha funny, but you know being together and there's no David here and doing the show but it's a great opportunity to get the band, it just feels good to be with the band," The event was held in Bowies birthplace Brixton and organised by friend and Hollywood actor Gary Oldman. Classics on the set list included Golden Years, Rebel Rebel and Starman-- with guest performances from La Roux and Guatemalen singer Gaby Moreno. 'Celebrating David Bowie' did just that.
