(ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION) Residents of around 100 homes have been told to evacuate their homes on Friday (July 14) as a huge fire at a recycling plant in Melbourne's north continues to burn, local media reported. The blaze, which began on Thursday (July 13) morning, was fuelled by thousands of tonnes of plastic, cardboard and paper according to the Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB). The company that operates the plant, SKM Recycling, have refused to comment on the situation until an investigation is completed, according to local media. The evacuation zone would be extended as the blaze would take days to put out, local media quoting authorities reported.
